Most N64's that have the clear/frosted parts have yellowing. But it's fixable with a process called retobrightting. Requires some diy but it's worth it.
Yea it's at least 19 years old and with it being clear plastic yellowing is definitely gonna happen. Hopefully the pictures online showed that before he bought it

Isn't it supposed to be completely blue though?? I had a purple controller in the past and it was on the complete controller.
@@chucktaylor4569 Either the seller lied and advertised a completely blue one or he misread it and it was a blue/clear one (they may have possibly not shown the clear part so the yellowing isn't displayed). Who knows
As soon as I saw his reaction, I had to jump in here to see if anyone brought this up! Its a shame. As I understand retrobrighting can be done with just a uv lamp over a few days without dismantling.

😱I actually tensed up when he was handling the turntable and LP! As a kid I dropped the TV, blew up a portable radio and disassembled just about every watch I was given (and a couple I was not. Sorry Mom!), but if I did what Judner did in front of my dad, I would 100% not be here today!

The N64, I wouldn't send it back. You could make a nice video from restoring it. Remove all electronics, and give all plastic components a hydrogen peroxide bath...
There's incredible value in doing this. And finding a console which doesn't have stains will be hard, unless you go for black, which is still gonna be stained due to age, but you just don't see it as badly.
So yeah, go ahead and restore it 😉 You'll have an absolute beautiful console on your hands afterwards.
