Just reminding everyone - we will announce winners at the end of the series in a video. Scammers are attacking every video trying to get people to text a number and then “pay for shipping for the prize you won”. That’s not us!
My family indirectly thanks you for including more subtitles. Really helps me not crank the volume to hear the whispers only to have a bugle shake the windows of our house 😂
It's kind of cruel waiting for you guys Tuesday and Thursday....but then again it's agonizing waiting for September. 😅 thank you for letting us tag along.
Its wild yall have to travel so far to get water. That country ur in looks like there would be water evwrywhere. But if there isnt much water around it could be good sitting on a spring until one of the big guys come in for a drink. Think u have the right idea. Hope it works out fella's. Shoot Straight!
I appreciate how you all show the highs and lows of hunting. Having an episode that no one kills one shows the true side of hunting. Thank you for amazing content!
They do. It is said in the intro that Corey had two first on this hunt. First time shooting one why fighting and first time getting an elk out of a lake. Not sure what episode it is but it’s coming.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings are my favorite. Just getting to watch elk hunting makes my day. Elk hunting seems to be a year around thing between applications, hoping for tags and getting ready for the hunt. So glad you guys help to extend the season even more.
Does my heart good to watch hunters much better than I struggle in steep terrain, fire scared dead and down, wide open vistas, unresponsive bulls, and tricky thermals. This is reality archery hunting video that I can relate to every season.
These videos are a great reminder that even for great, experienced hunters in great areas, elk hunting is hard! Being willing to go the extra mile or climb the extra 1000' makes a difference but is not a guarantee.
The resilience of y'all is amazing. The suspense of the way you've put these videos out is amazing, gives us enough to be on the edge of our seats, and can't wait till the next episode!!
Thank you for all the great content while I sit home and see -31 degree temperatures! Really helps make the winter a little more tolerable. I love the new format. Would like a full episode per day, but then it would be fewer episodes to look forward to. Love your show!
So far this series summed up my archery season as well. I only had two bulls within bow range in over 18 days of hunting. But like you guys I just kept at it and I'm sure you guys will have success. Really appreciate the content.
Love seeing the episodes. Idaho can be so rugged. This last year I experienced the struggle with keeping enough water. Makes me appreciate Pure Elevations struggles they battled.
I love watching each and every episode. You guys hunt hard and have fun! That's what it's all about. Each other! I learn something each and every episode to boot! it's great!
Normally I talk thru shows and offer my commentary to anyone in the area, this is about the only show that I just soak in and just watch! Love it guys!
Greatful for the channel and content, I really like that you keep it family friendly with language and other stuff, my 4 year old son just loves it! God bless!
Such a great show my hubby and I look forward to watching every week... with popcorn! And now two times a week we get to eat popcorn!!! :) Thanks, guys!
I really like the strategy for success. Sitting water holes can make for a long day. I appreciate how to glume is shown as well as the glory. Keep up the good work.
The dreaded motorized restricted access! The single track traffic is almost as frustrating as the sheep herd you find after hiking 3 miles only to find one in the perfect little elk basin. Keep up the hustle!
I don’t know what I’m more excited to see. Shooting the elk while fighting or watching how they extract the elk from the lake in the dark? Anxiously waiting for that episode.
That country looks amazing but steep! I’ve been there and know how hard it is to put one step in front of the other. Beautiful footage and public land with motorcycles is certainly a challenge. Enjoy the strategy for success ever episode!
I appreciate all information on the wind and thermals. It’s so easy to get in trouble from the thermals and these strategies for success are great! Thanks!
Man, it's rough hunting in the heat. But sometimes it pays off big time. Usually for me it's about 30 minutes before dark. And then I'm on the mountain all night cutting an elk! Thank goodness for great friends!
Had to wait an extra day to watch this one… daddy duties called… but as we are watching, my 3 yr old blows bubbles into his milk. I tell him that he will have to be quiet to go hunting with daddy. My 3 yr old tells me “I’m not scaring the elk, they’re on tv.”… Logic with this kid is unreal. But dear Lord he loves this show. This is “our show”. Thank you guys so much. And even on a much deeper level. It doesn’t just reach the hunters… it reaches our future. THANK YOU!!!
Early season is tuff! I usually end up at a wallow as well and have had a lot of success. Usually we go from wallow to wallow until we find one that's been stirred up with mud and sit there most of the day. Definitely not the most exciting hunt especially if that's all you do in Northern Indiana during deer season. Gets kinda boring but at least your in the mountains breathing in that fresh air! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with all of us who enjoy elk hunting!
A GoHunt Ad (THE WINDOW - Overcome All Odds came up during Destination Elk V5 episode 5 last night. It was about a husband and wife with their young son, Turtle, on an elk hunt. This was very well done, quite moving and I loved everything about it. The message about family and life experience with its ups and downs is something to grab hold of. Thank you!!!!!!
That planning around water is a bugger! I would have probably overlooked that and then had to bomb down hill to get water after the fact. Overlooking the water fact can be a big factor that is easy to overlook when elk are bugling. Love the series!
Corey’s bugle are incredibly consistent, and sound amazing. I’m sure consistent practice will bring those consistent bugles. Gives me hope. I practice a lot but I’m still fairly inconsistent with the quality of my bugles. Great video guys!
Corey & Donney, thanks for your insight and strategy for your early season hunt when bulls not responsive to bugles. I appreciate you being open with your thought process. I struggled with the same problem last year.
It's nice to have these episodes to watch especially when you're having a bad Tuesday or Thursday at least I have the excitement to watch a new episode!
Man I thought Tuesday would never come! I’m addicted to this series!! Never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for winter to be over
Man it's so enjoyable to glass elk no matter where they're at yet so frustrating when they don't answer to any calls. You definitely have the patience to succeed. Enjoying all the info. Thanks
I loved the question Corey asked..."Why do all the bulls answer other bulls but they won't answer us?" I kind of assumed it was just my calling. Kind of refreshing to know it happens to the best sometimes too - ha ha!!
Welcome to my world in always having to hunt that first or second week of season. Definitely tough and challenging. Thanks for sharing and providing your wealth of information.
This is an awesome off-season break. After each episode is over I remember how long it is until September. Thanks to you and your sponsors for all you do!
Just reminding everyone - we will announce winners at the end of the series in a video. Scammers are attacking every video trying to get people to text a number and then “pay for shipping for the prize you won”. That’s not us!

@text-5477 what?
I appreciate how you all show the highs and lows of hunting. Having an episode that no one kills one shows the true side of hunting. Thank you for amazing content!
Having hunted Utah a lot, the statement "hunt them like mule deer" is something we've said multiple times over the years. Thanks for keeping it real!
I love how Tyler and Lenny keep laughing and having a good time even when they have to be dead tired. They are tough dudes.
This is the only way to make it till September….thank you all for your hard work providing these experiences!
Another GREAT video; I love it!!!
Great series so far! Can't wait for the rest!! 👊
Been waiting all day for this!!!! Hoping one of these episodes Corey and Donnie score on a bull!!!!
They do. It is said in the intro that Corey had two first on this hunt. First time shooting one why fighting and first time getting an elk out of a lake. Not sure what episode it is but it’s coming.
Spoiler alert they don’t kill til the last day!
Just one more reason Elk101 is one of the best elk hunting series on RUclips.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings are my favorite. Just getting to watch elk hunting makes my day. Elk hunting seems to be a year around thing between applications, hoping for tags and getting ready for the hunt. So glad you guys help to extend the season even more.
Like Tyler's definition of a herd bull. Pure Elevation keeps spirits up with light hearted humor. Great guys!
Does my heart good to watch hunters much better than I struggle in steep terrain, fire scared dead and down, wide open vistas, unresponsive bulls, and tricky thermals. This is reality archery hunting video that I can relate to every season.

I love that you show the exciting stuff and the slower times. Really shows what hunting elk is like
The resilience of y'all is amazing. The suspense of the way you've put these videos out is amazing, gives us enough to be on the edge of our seats, and can't wait till the next episode!!
Love the way you guys keep us feeling like it's elk season all year long. Every episode is enjoyable
Thank you for all the great content while I sit home and see -31 degree temperatures! Really helps make the winter a little more tolerable. I love the new format. Would like a full episode per day, but then it would be fewer episodes to look forward to. Love your show!

Hate it when I see the public in public-good attitude from Corey to recognize people are out doing what they like not intending to disrupt
Really like that you show the "downtime" associated with elk hunting. Frustrating at times but all worth it when it comes together!!!
Love seeing the episodes. Idaho can be so rugged. This last year I experienced the struggle with keeping enough water. Makes me appreciate Pure Elevations struggles they battled.
I love the pov that all the hunters bring to the screen. Thank you for doing what you do, and letting us tag along. Keep on keeping on.
I love watching each and every episode. You guys hunt hard and have fun! That's what it's all about. Each other! I learn something each and every episode to boot! it's great!
I really like the way you guys move between the different groups of hunters. Great way to see how people hunt different terrain
Normally I talk thru shows and offer my commentary to anyone in the area, this is about the only show that I just soak in and just watch! Love it guys!
I love how Lenny and Tyler are in the grind, but still having a positive attitude and great time.
Love the knowledge on thermals! Always find it interesting keeping the scent in mind can make or break a close encounter!
Great showcase of vastly different hunting techniques! So much information hidden in each team and each episode. Thanks all!
These videos are the highlights of my week lately. Keep them coming and thank you to all your sponsors.
Greatful for the channel and content, I really like that you keep it family friendly with language and other stuff, my 4 year old son just loves it! God bless!
You never disappoint, this was another great video! Also that Euro mount on the fire place during the recap looks excellent.
Such a great show my hubby and I look forward to watching every week... with popcorn! And now two times a week we get to eat popcorn!!! :) Thanks, guys!
Thank you to the sponsers!! You help make this series what it is today 🙃 I love watching, esp hearing Corey bugle and Donnie dad joke 🤗
Everytime we start a new day with Donnie and Corey, I keep looking for a lake in the background. That intro snippet is such an awesome cliff hanger!
I love how real this series is. Helps remind me that elk hunting is hard work.
Thanks for all the hard work, love the realistic aspect of this series. All the ups and downs.
Thanks for keeping it educational with the wrap up. So different from the hunting content of my youth.
I really like the strategy for success. Sitting water holes can make for a long day. I appreciate how to glume is shown as well as the glory. Keep up the good work.
It’s amazing how hard you all work. Elk hunting is not easy but it is so rewarding.
The dreaded motorized restricted access! The single track traffic is almost as frustrating as the sheep herd you find after hiking 3 miles only to find one in the perfect little elk basin. Keep up the hustle!
These videos are the perfect length the watch while on the stair stepper getting ready for those big climbs!
Don't always get to watch right away but do enjoy binge watching a few episodes to catch up. You guys rock.
I love seeing everyone’s setup and how they think it’s the best one around. This is a great series! I love it!!
I don’t know what I’m more excited to see. Shooting the elk while fighting or watching how they extract the elk from the lake in the dark? Anxiously waiting for that episode.
Team Elevation making me muscle sore, but that what what dedicated hunters do! Go after it! Great job gentleman.
Hunting Roosevelt elk has been humbling! It's amazing to see Angry Spike consistently finding elk. Love the series again so far this season.
That country looks amazing but steep! I’ve been there and know how hard it is to put one step in front of the other. Beautiful footage and public land with motorcycles is certainly a challenge. Enjoy the strategy for success ever episode!
thanks again for the content. I love how we get to see the highs and lows of you hunt as it plays out.
I appreciate all information on the wind and thermals. It’s so easy to get in trouble from the thermals and these strategies for success are great! Thanks!
I’m not a hunter but my husband and kids are… and we all enjoy watching your episodes together each week.
Love this series. Between Destination Elk and UEH I've learned loads from you guys.
Having the motorcycles come through sucks but the reality of hunting public land. Thank you guys for being such great advocates for us!
Love watching these guys. These guys hunt the right way and I have found a lot of their tips and tactics to be really helpful
I really like how you guys put the time updated throughout the hunts!
Great episode. Thank you guys for waiting to release your content until months after the season ends. Keeps elk hunting fresh in my mind
I’ve learned a lot about being patient with the wind by watching you guys. Good stuff!
Favorite outdoor series! My wife even tunes in for Donnie’s dad jokes.
Tyler and Lenny have the best outlook on the daily grind. I'm rooting for em.
Man, it's rough hunting in the heat. But sometimes it pays off big time. Usually for me it's about 30 minutes before dark. And then I'm on the mountain all night cutting an elk! Thank goodness for great friends!
Good stuff gentlemen. Love having camp on your back and just go where the critters take you. Thanks for sharing!!!
Every episode get me more excited for this upcoming season. Thanks for keeping me entertained over this long winter.
Respect to Team Elevation, that’s real backcountry hunting in the mountains.
Truly thankful for your sponsers, we benefit from them and all your hard work putting this all together. Appreciate you guys.
Had to wait an extra day to watch this one… daddy duties called… but as we are watching, my 3 yr old blows bubbles into his milk. I tell him that he will have to be quiet to go hunting with daddy. These videos are helping get through the long winter months. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
I really enjoy the quick recap but I especially appreciate the strategy for success at the end of the videos!
My favourite you tube show to date! Thanks for making these videos. Your teams are great! Looking forward to more success
I’m really enjoying the 4 team format and the e content this year. Thank you guys for everything you do.

Thanks for showing us the challenges that come with elk hunting. It makes getting an elk oh so much sweeter.
These episodes help get me through the off-season! Another good one! September can't come soon enough.
Thanks for showing the highs and the lows. It is so helpful to have the strategy for success. That darn wind can sure get us.
Thanks guys for all the hard work, we are greatfull to be able to watch this series to keep elk season alive..
Nothing like all that hiking to have the cycles scare the bulls off. Another great episode.
Elk 101 is the best show on the internets.
Thanks for keeping it real. Not every day is a 10 so a sense of humor always helps to keep morale up.
Great episode!
True show of how daunting early season can be when nothing goes the way you want it!
Seeing Tyler and Lenny hiking their butts off has been a great motivator to get in the gym! Thanks for the great videos!
There's always an elk over the next ridge, down the next canyon.....LOL! Loving the footage!
That planning around water is a bugger! I would have probably overlooked that and then had to bomb down hill to get water after the fact. Overlooking the water fact can be a big factor that is easy to overlook when elk are bugling. Love the series!

Thank you guys for the Strategy for Success segment. I always learn a lot. It's been a very enjoyable season to watch.
Man I thought Tuesday would never come! I’m addicted to this series!! Never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for winter to be over
Was gone for the week and was fun to come back to watch two episodes. Thanks.
Great episode, showing that elk can be right there but not quite in reach! Excited for the next episode!
Resilience in the mountains is so important. This episode shows it once again.
As a new elk hunter this series is great! Learning a lot of good tactics.
Looks like early archery is kicking some butt. No doubt you will prevail!! Series is getting good!!
Welcome to my world in always having to hunt that first or second week of season. Definitely tough and challenging. Thanks for sharing and providing your wealth of information.
Great episode and series! Amazing country these guys are trying to hunt. Thanks for taking us along.
This is an awesome off-season break. After each episode is over I remember how long it is until September. Thanks to you and your sponsors for all you do!
It’s really cool to see the different terrains you all hunt in. I have only hunter elk once in New Mexico in 2022, but I am hooked.
Persistence is the name of the game with elk hunting. Well done.
The grind in everyone is insane! Commitment and motivation from the guys in this series makes it the best on RUclips🤙
These episodes are the highlight of my week. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.
