I noticed you're shooting wiht -0.5EV exposure compensation. You might want to try turning that back to 0EV, and seeing if it's good without it, as HERO11 has improved exposure control over the previous models.
Thank you I did notice that it seemed a bit too dark at -0.5 but it was cloudy and it was also my very first footage off the cam. I always shoot in -0.5 on the 10 but the 11 may not need that. 🤙
@@GeneralExpert yes. It was pretty much a requirement in the previous cameras, but the exposure control and tone mapping has undergone a big overhaul in HERO11.

in other words, shadow and highlight clipping are improved? if so, is it improved in not only flat, but in the vibrant profile as well?
