Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful places on earth! We are blessed to have a home up in the mountains and cloud forest, which gives us access to some amazing nature and beauty. Surrounded by JC's Costa Rican family and friends, whenever we travel to our 2nd home in Costa Rica we love to get out and explore with them. At the beginning of 2024 we went on a quest to see the elusive Quetzal Bird in the wild and we captured a brief viewing. To say we were excited would be an understatement. The Quetzal bird is found throughout the mountainous rainforests of Central America where they tend to prefer high mountain ranges at altitudes of between 4,000 and 10,000 feet.
