Not only is the S.A.T. tracker fantastic, the customer service is "GREAT" I'm talking one of a kind best ever experience. The S.A.T. from CSNtechnologies also has built in logging software. You log the contacts as you make them, save that log and it's ready to send to LoTW, QRZ and many more. When you type in a call sign it shows the persons name and home location which is also a big plus. I have had the S.A.T. for several months now, wish I had known about it earlier.

Your other satellite videos got me interested awile ago but I've just recently started to try for myself on the fm birds. I watched tons of your older videos when I was first getting into ham radio and got my ticket back in July. Want to thank you for all the great content you provide whether it's ham related or not like you I have many interests ontop of ham radio so keep doing what you enjoy
@@HamRadioConcepts Remember; if you happen to get one the radio does not need satellite mode, the S.A.T. unit does it all. I've actually put in the pass-band frequencies for all the Linear birds to quickly select another set of frequencies rather than moving the VFO dial.
Nice setup. I'm wondering about the feedline - it looks like dual 75 ohm satellite TV cable. I suspect the slight impedance mismatch won't have much effect, especially with a short run, and it does neaten up the installation.
I got to admit. That was a pretty cool satellite rig. I like the control unit. It looks like a "Gotta have it" kind of gizmo.

How do you align the rotator to north, so it know where its pointing? What tablet are you using and software for you sat tracking.
The software is built in to the controller. when setting everything up set the yaesu controller to 0 and point your antenna to true north.
Very cool! So does this unit work better than using ham radio deluxe for auto tracking satellites?
