@ Significa, en sentido figurado o metafórico, el equivalente a "Heartbreaker" en inglés, solo que más en el sentido de alguien que “no demuestra suficiente amor”, pero en portugués brasileño no existe un término literal para "Caustic Soda", ya que en inglés "soda" puede referirse a un refresco. Sin embargo, existe el término "solda". En la temática de la letra, "hold caustic soda heart" significa aferrarse a un amor que ya no "burbujea", sino que "derrite" y deteriora desde dentro hacia afuera.
