Sign translators are the BEST!
ASL is such a descriptive and meaningful language when used by native or fluent signers.
It's not just ASL man... it's all Sign Languages. But yeah I agree, even I make expressions I never thought I'd make when signing.

It's 2018, politics is completely taking over media everywhere and ignoring it is doing a disservice to pop culture, which is what the monologue is supposed to be, a reflection of the daily events.
Comedy is moving more towards politics, it makes sense to bring in political comedians.
