One of my all-time favorite correspondents on the Daily Show, and I'm always going to be biased towards Jon's version of the show (I was in college when it was popular). Roy has such a great, complex understanding of all sorts of issues, not just those affecting people of color.

You get into college easier, you get scholarships easier, and you get healthcare benefits for being a person of color. My friend who was at the top of her school had an interview for a scholarship. They thought barossa was a Hispanic last name. Right when she walked through the door, the interviewers froze and asked her how she pronounced her name immediately. A Hispanic girl who had consistently bad grades and a disgusting attitude (she went to the same school) got the scholarship. I'm not racist. I am for calling out the superiority complex of the police department and discrimination at work, but THAT WAS discrimination. My friend was heartbroken. She thought she had that scholarship in the bad since she had all A's plus extra credit, college courses down, internships at clinics, and extracurricular activities. She cried in middle school the first time she got a B. She's a diligent worker who also helps at the animal refuge in a lower middle class family.
Hate to tell you but white women have gained the most out of that bill. As have other groups. Blacks are the last out of the ones who benefit from it.
