in first world countries safety and cost are the main factor. you cant pay the normal wage and make money off this. so its got to go to eastern Europe where no one cares and wages are low
It might be something called “Waxoil”, a preparation which adheres to the internal walls of the structure and to an extent pools in the lower seams, where moisture otherwise would settle. I remember people buying this product in UK in the 1970s, then crawling under their nearly new cars, spraying it into the holes in the chassis rails - in the days when cars had longitudinal rails from front to rear, before almost everything became monocoque! People would also find any holes into hollow structures like tailgate doors and hoods / bonnets, which had an internal skin as well as the external surface, and spray all around there, too. They were fighting a losing battle though. Our miserable climate was ideal to speedily destroy anything made of bright, mild steel & left outside its entire life. We also made much use of cheap rock salt cast upon the road surface, mixed with sharp grit, in wintertime, especially in the north of the country. We’ve never been good at handling winter frost, snow & ice. The combination of paint-chipping sharp stones, corrosion encouraging salt and the near permanent dampness wrought havoc upon the unprotected low quality metal then used to manufacture vehicles. I may be wrong but I have a memory that first the German car makers, then the Japanese, began making changes to the way cars were made that were sold into the then-important export markets of UK & others. Within a few years, the difference in used car values made in these new ways & those made using traditional methods opened like a gulf. Fords, Vauxhalls, Austin Morris, MG, Jaguar etc were notorious for being rusty, sometimes before taking delivery of a new car! Can you imagine any customer being this badly demoralized that they accepted it. By contrast, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Datsun, BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes we’re inherently more desirable. The main techniques being used were zinc galvanization by dipping the entire car body in a tank. That plus use of better primer paints. In each case to keep metal and moisture part. Within a couple of decades, cheaper, older cars made in the new ways had a long tail of residual value. By contrast the traditional rust bucket cars continued to die of terminal corrosion long before they had worn out. My first car was a 5 year old Ford, and it had already required both front wings to be replaced. By contrast, we sold a 15 year old Audi & it had not a spec of rust anywhere, at 120,000 miles. Zinc galvanization made all the difference. Audi paint was also just brilliant, tough and very glossy after all that time. Sorry to have written a short article in place of a post :))

Another car saved from the junk yard, which is where it would have ended up here in Australia. They total cars here with a lot less damage than this.

Everytime you repair a BMW, the complexity of the construction convinces me further to shy away from them.

Такую рельефную стойку споттером проблемно сделать, но можно. Но лучше поменять если есть возможность.

Крыша карбоновая, поэтому на100 процентов под крышу завести не вышло. Сколько смог завел и посадил на клей.

F80 M3 has front parts from M4 F82, you will not fit F30 3series headlights, but F32 4 series will fit, it is "LEGO" as most of big quantity models.
