use as many off field attacks as you can alongside an infusion main dps. thats the only method for getting the shield up without electro. characters like zhongli should do the trick

Venti needed your help to stop Stormterror. Zhongli needed assistance to defeat Azhdaha. Ei chose to take down 2.5 all on her own and won. That's true power right there
To be fair venti lost 99% of his powers and cant purify blood, zhongli was eroded and vs someone stronger than raiden, Ei fought a copy of herself for a few hundred years in her mind
Don’t mean to be crude but you are wrong about Ei and you forgot the reasons why the Archon’s needed the Traveler’s help. Venti lost most of his powers because not enough people worship him over the years. Zhongli is no longer an archon and lost most of his powers because of a contract and his retirement plan. Ei doesn’t have true power at all. She is in a plane beyond reality where both Raiden’s can fight to their maximum potential. In reality Ei is not as strong as she is in the plane. Plus she needs the traveler’s help to deal with her own emotional issue and unlock Musou Isshin’s true potential. Without the traveler she wouldn’t have made much progress at all and would ultimately fight the Shogun for maybe an eternity. Venti and Zhongli are level headed and smart enough to know they can’t do things in their current state. Ei on the other hand is a stubborn martial artists that doesn’t know she needed help until it actually came. Sometimes you need help to defeat your own worse enemy and Ei is an example of this.

Then her friends' deaths. She's traumatized and what she did was natural to what she saw and suffered. Ei cannot forget about it, the shogun is to be immune to erosion.

Signora literally protected mondstat because venti couldnt, then was shunned due to her appearance and had her lover killed, idk man betrayal is worse imo (im not referring to losing ur mind and attacking ur friends but actual fully lucid betrayal)

Xiao suffered, no doubt about it, but he doesn't have to worry about Celestia nuking Liyue like Sal Vindagnyr (Dragonspine) or Khaenri'ah. But Ei has to, as she witnessed how badly Khaenri'ah was destroyed. She desperately created a childish plan to protect her people from Celestia's wrath which worked but resulted in total chaos for the people. Don't compare being a slave to the complete death of family and friends. Both are terribly bad for a person. Especially a god because they are bound to be alone for a long time.
The way Raiden shogun's music goes hard during her transformation phase reminds me of how Grimms music intensifies when he's doing his pufferfish attack.
Hardcore pro players may laugh at me all they want but that’s my approach to every archon battle. Purposefully choose weaker characters, or swap out artefacts and weapons for lower dps, so I can experience the battles as they were meant to be. Long, challenging, keeps you on your toes, leading up to that final stretch giving it everything you’ve got, and just barely make it. The characters clashing, the music pumping you up and keep you going… and this battle right here is easily my favourite so far, after everything we’ve learned about the history of Inazuma, Raiden Shogun, Ei, and Makoto, the people we saved and lost trying to reach the point where we finally go up against the most powerful archon in the story so far. I still love the final battle for Liyue, but Inazuma just hits different. That feeling I had defending the Jade Chamber, while Nigguang prepared to drop it, “this is it! it’s now or never”, was so much stronger at the end of the Inazuma chapter. Man, I would give so much to experience it for the first time again.
Maybe the traveller might challenge venro just for fun and then we get venti weekly boss and his 1st phase is like normal venti and annoying dodging our attacks but 2nd phase he turns into his archon form and summons hurricanes and tornados and his ultimate attack is his wins slash twice and you need a anemo unit to put the sheild up and if you dont put the sheild toy get one shotted

This boss is so powerful that the Giant Susanoo Slash attack can't even be I-framed nor can't be tanked by the strongest shield in the game. That's how powerful she is.

I used to hate this boss because i think oneshot kills are lazy design in almost any scenario... but then i got into the dueling aspect of the design and got odd flashbacks of bloodborne hunter fights.
Raiden is by far my most favorite boss fight in Genshin. The others are very pretty and epic but Raiden really just out here to throw hands from the get-go. This theme compliments that aspect of her fight really well despite not having the same level of musical production as the others. Still, there's extravagance in its simplicity of which only Raiden's fight has been able to achieve. It's Perfect!!!

I find the Shogun really interesting although we don’t interact to her that much. It’d be fun if we managed to actually know her better(p.s I’m not talking about Raiden Ei, im talking about The Shogun)

Boss is easy for end game players...my first time fighting with co-op, she didt even transform. Mihoyo needs to make her have transformation cut scene like Childe n Azdaha.
The thing you are missing about the diference between the other bosses and raiden shogun is that her transformation is not permenant Hence they made it so when you beat the shield of her transformation music reverts back to calmer version
Yep me too... I kill her solo without her second transform... i use yae so she cant damage me anymore.. Its make her rage gauge not recharge so i kill her without second form.. Maybe mihoyo must make her second form like childe or signora...

I fought her the first time not even knowing 1 attack of hers got killed so many times. And lost the first fight. Knowing a bit of he patterns made me Finnish her on my second try.
She fight her puppet to change the rule that she set and her puppet is base from her old behavior and in her old thoughts only duel can change everything

Boss is easy for end game players...my first time fighting with co-op, she didt even transform. Mihoyo needs to make her have transformation cut scene like Childe n Azdaha.
The thing you are missing about the diference between the other bosses and raiden shogun is that her transformation is not permenant
Hence they made it so when you beat the shield of her transformation music reverts back to calmer version

Yep me too... I kill her solo without her second transform... i use yae so she cant damage me anymore.. Its make her rage gauge not recharge so i kill her without second form.. Maybe mihoyo must make her second form like childe or signora...

I fought her the first time not even knowing 1 attack of hers got killed so many times. And lost the first fight. Knowing a bit of he patterns made me Finnish her on my second try.
