Grr has improved so much. His match against emperor rio was insane. I was most impressed with the flawless blocks. Until today, the king of that was ninjakilla but Grr took most flawless blocks in a match easy with his performance this tournament. The reads, offense, defense, adjustments were all there from Grr and its true, he is the only person that makes excited to watch Geras

My biggest problem with Geras is not so much his OPness, but how faceroll he is to play and still do truckloads of damage. He's basically training wheels, basically any hit is a free 300+ damage, and he has a ridiculously good "projectile" on top.

If not change the rules outright they should have a version of competition where a character is randomly picked and both players fight using that character. As it stands now it gets boring watching the same characters over and over again. Not only would it require players to have a comprehensive understanding of the game (as opposed to being cheese masters of overused and over powered characters) but it would be more exciting for the audience which would help grow the popularity of the Esport here in the states at least.
DAT Geras can be fun to play and watch if you play him more of a setup/grappler style. Infinite Warden isn’t too interesting but his other 2 variations are pretty cool imo

DAT His forward throw animation is pretty cool imo, the way he like rewinds back. I think the real problem is that we see it too often, I mean you can build an entire game plan just around one or two strings, grabs, and sand trap. Kinda gets repetitive, which does make him boring to watch at times

As good as NK is, he is pretty boring to watch. I would like to see him use some other characters competitively like Sonic does and not just stick to the top tier. This is what makes Sonic so entertaining to watch, he's not afraid to use characters everyone thinks are not that great, and he does amazingly well with them too. NK has amazing skill and i'm sure he could do something similar. These MK11 tournaments need more variety instead of just watching the same johnny cage and geras over and over. But i guess sometimes you just gotta do whatever is going to get you the win. These things just aren't fun to watch anymore.
Sonicfox is also actually also a "tier enthusiast". But recently, some of the things Fox considers top tier are unusual, like Raiden and Kollector. (D'vorah, Fox just likes her, but she's still not that high on Fox's list. And Jade is a counterpick.)

At some point sonic will give up the throne, but I don’t see it happening any time soon. Look at biohazard, forever king, honeybee, illusions, and many others that were consistently top 8 or better in mkx, even semij has trouble placing in mk11 tourneys. Sonic fox and dragon both have proved that they can master multiple nrs games in a row, even when the other greats cannot. So NK may be a good bit behind sonic, but if he keeps it up then he might one day surpass him. I doubt it, but it’s possible.
Jesus Jaqui does a lot of damage for how quickly she can spam attacks. That's one of the problems with this game honestly. You have slower characters like Kitana and Jade who don't do anywhere near as much damage despite not being able to spam as much.

In the neutral you can't really react to it, and his 111 string ends in an overhead so if you special cancel into it after 11 it's a mixup (kind of)

Jesus Jaqui does a lot of damage for how quickly she can spam attacks. That's one of the problems with this game honestly. You have slower characters like Kitana and Jade who don't do anywhere near as much damage despite not being able to spam as much.
Bro, try doing that dmg with Jacqui... Is hella hard to make it work, Geras on the other hand... 300+ for easy fucking combos
