My mother passed away 5 years ago. She had a bottle of this perfume, and I kept it. Thank you!!
My love to you and your mom and to her memory 💖💖💖
Thank you! Dacob for making this video. My mom use to wear blue grass when she passed away I bought a bottle of blue grass. I spray it from time to time in memory of her❤
Thank you lisa 🙏🏻💖 My condolences and love to you and your mom 🌅💖🌅
Thank you Dacob; I absolutely LOVE the journeys you take us on in your perfume reviews! 🥰 It’s such a treat. 🎉 In the video there was a ‘debate’ in the live-chatt as to what the perfume name is referencing. Miss Arden chose the name in honour of her horses and the American Thoroughbred horse racing stable in Kentucky that she owned. Bluegrass happens to be an excellent horse pasture forage, very much synonymous with Kentucky.
Thank you for the information mindmovesmatter 🙏🏻🥰💖
It's a stunning fragrance and seeing people buying again. I just bought a bottle and it smells the same as my mother's vintage bottles.
Its a beauty
I love watching reviews of classic vintage perfumes. Thank you for refraining from using ageist language when describing these beauties. I live near an EA factory outlet. I think I’ll pick up some blue Grass. 💙
There is no ageism on my channel. No place for such thoughts and talk here. 🥰🥰🥰💖💖
Current formulation of red door 🚪 review by you will heal my mental health.
Love Blue Grass! Beautiful scent! My grandparents bought me a bottle of this when I was a young girl. They always used to buy me a bottle of perfume when they used to go on holidays. Very happy memories when I wear this. Apparently Elizabeth used to wash her horses in the scent! I have always loved horses since I was a small child which is why they probably bought it for me.
My mother is obsessed with this one, 5th avenue, Red Door and True Love. Elizabeth Arden’s fragrances make me feel like a kid everytime I smell them. So many memories attached.
I love how perfumes always take us through time like time machines 🥰💫💖
Your reviews are so poetic ❤
Thank you Marika 🥹🙏🏻🥰
Love Blue Grass. My grandmother used it. The current version smells to me about the same as it did 50-60 years ago. I miss the old style E.A. font though, that they used through the 70s. The soap is nice too. That's so funny that you found stuff floating around in your bottle! I had to check mine and no discernable foreign objects floating in mine!
I have always loved Blue Grass!
A beauty 💖🎀
My absolute favourite, haven't worn it in years but you have reminded me of it. I also love Anaïs anais.
Pungent and aldehydes, my 2 favourite words for a perfume😂. Oooh this sounds like a perfume i would love!!!. I looked it up and its dirt cheap, livin ferret💖
Its quite affordable these days. 🥰
I’ve sprayed my Blue Grass and going along the journey with you Dakob 😊
Its a beauty 🥰💖
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 it is and so well blended it’s almost one distinct fragrance.
I don’t know if you’ve done Aromatics - it’s a beauty too.
Love these in depth perfume reviews💖
Thank you H. A. 🙏🏻🥰💖
Why don't i have this, red door is my favorite, 😮 i love this brand
Its a demure beauty 💖
Is it me or does the cloud of perfume when you sprayed it in the air look pinkish purple? Thank you for sharing and speaking so eloquently about this classic beauty. You truly have a gift for this! ❤ 1:51
Thank you so much Priestess 🙏🏻🥰💖 I need to check if the mist is pinkish…
I love your presentation of Blue Grass! Have you seen the beautiful original adverts for the fragrance? Absolutely wonderful.j💙 🐎
Thank you Marie 🥰 I have seen the original adverts 🥰
You totally had me, Dacob. I had the Blue Grass bottle in my Vermont Country Store cart.... until ... a HUMAN HAIR???!!!
Haha well… its some form of hair looking thing. Haha
Maybe it´s a horse hair …
You've inspired me to track down a bottle of this ❤🎉
Its very soapy and classic 💖
Wore this beautiful fragrance in the '80's ❤❤❤One of my favorites ❤❤❤Thank you for this video. Can you please review vintage fragrance, 'Worth' , by Revien (?) Thank you in advance ❤❤❤....P.S. Sad that they took out the carnation note; one of my favorite notes❤❤❤
My Mother wore this and I don't know if she oversprayed but it always assaulted my sinuses. It was literally painful to sit in the car with her! I bought her Coco and Number 9, no more pain 😄
Blue Grass is not named for the musical genre, of which I'm a dedicated fan. While it has routes in older music, bluegrass (one word) didn't take shape as a musical genre until many years after the launch of this perfume, which may have been named for the blue grass plant, common in Kentucky. Even so, I bought this a couple years back because of my love of bluegrass music. Sadly, my first reaction was intense and not positive. The only perfume I've ever felt the need to scrub. But this review has made me want to revisit the fragrance. I think I will try it again, with some bluegrass banjo playing in the background.
Beautiful classic fragnence
🥰🌅
One of Princess Diana Spencer favourite perfumes !!! 🌹
Interesting. I thought hers was Quelques Fleur by Houbigant. Well… that was allegedly her wedding perfume at least.
I'm curious about this one. The lavander, sandalwood and orange in it have me intrigued and obviously the price
Its very soapy and the price is awesome
The box was blue in the '80's.

Would you call it the morning version of Chanel # 5?
PS. Perfect eyebrows!❤
Thank you Claudia 🙏🏻💖 I would not call it No5 😅
Romántico aroma, me encanta!!!
A mi tambien! 🥰
I need to stop watching these videos, i just ordered this and green tea, your chanel videos never have me going to buy it, but when you talk perfume, i have to try to ignore you. My walets crying.
Thankfully though blue grass is a beauty from times long gone and the price is not a wallet drainer like most other perfumes 💖
@essence-tiallydacob9611 that's the truth some of the newer ones they want a fortune a small fortune but a fortune
Blue Grass always made me recoil.
My dear friend you were right! Just bought it and to me is so close to Shalimar / Guerlain!
Fabulous 🥰💖
How old sre the people wearing it?
Judging by your question, you are too young to even ask it.
❤
💖
Oh get to the point!
Right now, I have Paul Sebastian, Design in my cart. Someone on Fragrantica said it reminded them of Sand & Sable, a perfume my sister in law introduced me to as a little girl. I still love that one! It's cheap, it's not at all complex but it's so comforting. 🩵
I love blue grass ❤always reminds me of the coast for some reason Xxxx
Its a beauty 💖
Blue Grass = Intrigue 🩵
