With the former Hashira mostly...leaving in the final battle so naturally if the Hashira system continued there'd have to be replacements. Seeing the level of power and skill these characters achieved makes me really want to see more of them beyond the main demon slayer story. More prequel content would be cool, side stories and if there's a way to produce a natural story arc that goes beyond the main story would be really cool. But idk I think I just want more Demon Slayer

You need to take into account that Doma had been severely weakened by the Wisteria poison that he had ingested when he consumed Shinobu. If that had not happened then both Inosuke and Kanoe would have been killed.
doma wasnt very serious to began he was fighting jokingly all that time if he was serious like any other demon they were doomed

Apparently Selfless State and See-Through World are not the same thing. The first one removes your spirit and makes you nigh-undetectable, the second one is a full concentration mode that increases your reaction time to the maximum whilst allowing you to see through living creatures.

@@aha3602 Well, they're also extremely linked to each other. They're all demon slayer mark techniques. Awakening one usually leads to awakening the other, or atleast makes it extremely easy give that you know what you're trying to do.

The thing is, that's not destiny. Because destiny doesn't exist in Demon Slayer. Everything Tanjiro has stems from his lineage and his personality. It's quite implied that the breathing style a slayer can use best is linked to their personality, soul, and lineage. A powerful lineage like the Kamados have a steady stream of red haired, red eyed people that all share a similar personality. You could even say that the Kamado lineage is the closest to what would have been Yoriichi's descendants. Sun Breathers aren't "chosen ones". They're all incredibly kind and understanding people. That's what Sun Breathing is most suited to. Every user of Sun Breathing we've seen, as well as Sumiyoshi, Tanjiro's ancestor, were all incredibly kind and understanding people who *_never liked to fight._* That's the key. They all picked up a sword to protect their families, or to protect others from meeting the same end as their families. None of them would have picked up a sword to fight if they were left in peace.
Actually, zenitsu would be called the rumble hashira because according to the manga , thunder breathing users who becomes a hashira are called rumble hashira

I hope they continue the show with this pitch. The demon slayer corps Begans to branch out as more of a militaristic force. Having different clans. The hashira These clans compete every year for a special price. But the prize turns out to be corrupt. Having key characters from each clan look for answers on several swordsmen who disappear every year.

If they had permanent ones, they would hv defo died

By the way, there is no such thing as an "average Hashira". All those who reach the level of Hashira have an incredible will to fight and the ability to grow extremely quickly. Their levels are never stable, and they do not stagnate. They keep growing and growing until they die.
There is, Low Hashira, Medium Hashira and Strong Hashira because all of em arent equal and there are ones stronger, more talented and efficient thus the ranks

@@blakehutton436nah the reason is cause zenitsu has the first form of thunder breathing mastered. So when he uses it his katana won’t break or chip. In DS they say if your katana breaks or chips it’s cause the user’s mastery of the blade is inefficient

Genya died and in the last chapter the hashira was disbanded as there wasnt a need for them anymore especially with only Giyu and Sanemi being the only survivors in the final battle. Also those that has the mark generates the mark can only live up until the age of 25.
I can not wait for the manga to be televised. This show is so good
tbh I do not feel anything exciting about watching demon slayer now, I guess that's the curse that we all manga readers have, since we already know what's going to happen it just feels empty. Now all we do is critize the anime if they do not follow the manga.

I love how each of the newbies Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao, and Genya all represent the five senses. Smell, hearing, touch, sight, and taste respectively I didn't notice that before
I think a proper time skip before the downfall of Muzan would have been nice. A Tanjiro that completed all sun breathing and had time to train would have been cool

Also, Tanjiro did not activate the crimson blade during the Rui fight. That was just a normal blood explosion amplifying his sword attack with a second impact.
He did get the blade to turn red through Nezukos blood so yes he can get it red but only with Nezukos help

Yes, in the manga and latest episode Tanjiro said it himself that he was able to get his sword to be red through Nezuko's Blood Demon art like Yoriichi's own although he used a method different from Yoriichi

Murata is a user of advanced sun breathing. Hes the strongest demon slayer, and he was just hiding his power. It is shown as in the game: HinoKami Chronicles, Murata's breathing style was blue. Murata's sun breathing was so hot that it turned blue :O.

Would there even be a next generation? In the manga after they defeat muzan, all the other demons under his control besides Yushiro end up disappearing. With no demons to slay they’re would really be a point in the demon slayer corps anymore

Yoriichi is the strongest to exist in all eras. Tanjiro beat Muzan as a team thanks to Tamayo and Shinobu's poison and all other hashira's and demon slayer corp's sacrifice.

There's no need for "the next generation of hashiras" when Muzan is dead. Part of me kind of wish they would have introduced a new "big bad" instead of just ending the manga when Muzan died, as it's such a popular show that could have continued making all the producers/writers money.
Another part of me thinks that it's better that it's ended just killing the bad guy that was established since the beginning. As there have been manga/anime before that starts to get drawn out and boring after they keep introducing new "bad guys".
well with the ddefeat of muzan and the all of the moon demons, none of the other demons really stand a chance to survive or make a new group as muzan was the one who gave other demons more power, although they could make a spin off of the times where they killing the rest of the demons i dont see that happening asi ts probably really boring to see all the hashira level charcaters killing demons on par with the first demon tanjrio defeated lol

Now that I think about it, the reign of demons can’t truly end, just because Muzan died doesn’t mean the demons he left behind also died, they can also give their blood to OTHER people and probably get as strong as UPM level. If there was a spin off or a sequel it would be about demons being permanently wiped out.

I would argue that they are all hashira because they all contributed to takihg down *Upper* Moons, which are a lot tougher than lower moon demons. Also, some have taken down multiple Upper Moons. Therefore, they are hashira to me.
Tanjiro: Main character breathing
Inosuke: weird asf breathing
Zenitsu: simp breathing
Genya: eats everything breathing
Kanao: psychopath breathing
You should have included Nezuko, Yushiro and Murata in the list of the new generation of hashiras. Nezuko fought many 12 moon demons it's unfair to not include her, although she is a human now she might very possible have the same ability to gain demon power by consuming demons just like Genya. Plus with hellish training she can definitely learn the sun breathing since her blood demon technique was not only fire but a fire that only burns demons and their demon blood technique just like the sun. And the fact that her demon blood technique was fire indicate that she have the potential of using sun breathing since blood demon techniques are always based on the character of the person hence why for example Douma who is a very cold person got the ice blood demon technique. Also yushiro Tamayo associate can be considered hashira level as he was crucial in many moments and is a very capable and versatile student to one of the first demons Tamayo. Also Murata could be a hashira although he would be much weaker than the other new generation of hashiras he still went very far in the hellish hashira training so he could probably defeat a lower moon demon and since he have been a demon slayer for so long as long as tomioka giyu he have probably slayed so many demons and is very close to the other quota that makes someone a hashira that is killing 50 demons.
This generation while not as strong as the previous generation. Nearly all of them got not to only fought former lower moons, current lower moon and a very amped lower moon 1 but also got the very valuable experience of fighting an upper moon super early in their career something the previous generation didn't get to do. Fighting an upper moon according to kanroji equal at least 5 years of training. This crash course saved them time and boosted their potential.
Plus this new generation is interesting they have blood demon technique users and gun user. And tanjiro who can use multiple breathings not only water and sun but he showed that lightning breathing isn't impossible for him to learn. This is probably because he uses the original breathing style of all other breathing styles sun breathing. The ubuyashiki who died could also use multiple breathing styles although he probably couldn't use sun breathing. Also five of the new generation hashira have one of the five senses amped

Blood demon technique are ALWAYS based on the character of the person. Her fire blood demon technique burn ONLY demons and their blood demon technique just like the sun. Hence insinuating that she can learn the sun breathing. Also she already had what can only be described as the demon slayer mark
@@Soya.yayaya Listen, I'm not sure if you realize this, but the blood art isn't exactly fire. It's red. Additionally, the style of breathing one should use is dictated by eye color and sword color. Nezuko's eyes are pink, not red. It's not Sun Breathing. The mark is also not the same mark that Sun Breathers usually get. Yes, Sun Breathers all get a similar mark on the top left of their forehead.

Correction. Giyu and Muichiro both created new techniques in their Breathing styles respectively , Giyu's 11th form Dead Calm basically allowed him to negate the attacks of the enemy by ceasing his own movements. Muichiro even beath Upper moon 5 with his final form Obscuring Clouds, designed to heavily disorientate the target, which is done so by fluctuating the user's tempo. When the user appears before the target, they move incredibly slow, but then accelerate to blistering speeds before getting hit, making it seem like they disappeared into a cloud of mist. When done repeatedly, it can disorientate the target to the point of making them think they are being covered in a thick layer of mist. Even Kokushibo was impressed with it for him to create it at such a young age.

If anyone has read manga they ll know the demon slayer corps were disbanded right after they defeated muzan so no new demon slayers like tanjiro n squad became hashira 🙃

I understand what people are saying by there will be no next gen of hashira, but there could if somebody as cruel as muzan were to be alive and have the same sickness(which would be a very low chance) then theoretically they could seek immortality and become another demon king

I would have loved Demon King Tanjiro arc. New upper moons... Nezuko learning Hinokami Kagura and being better than her brother due to potentially keeping her demonic strength and stamina, since it was that strain on his body which kept Tanjiro progressing with the breathing technique (I know it doesn't happen just go with it for a while). Sanemi being new leader of Hashira, Iguro surviving, Tomioka getting serious for the next arc. New Hashiras: Nezuko, Rengoku's brother, Kanao, Inosuke, Zenitsu and a completely new character. Would have been very epic!

Technically he doesn't use sun breathing, sun breathing is described to be the hinokami, when all 13 styles or moves are used in quick succession it becomes the 1st form sun breathing technique so, therefore tanjiro could create new forms of sun breathing to make it an actual full fledge breathing style and of course it will be passed down to his kids
actaully the hinokami is the dance his dad used and tanjiro jsut calls it that out of personal will
