Just do a muffler delete or a resonator delete. Either way they both sound amazing. Did it with my 4.4.

@@oa4604 resonator. Cut it off and weld in some stainless pipe. It will sound better with the exhaust that you have. And as far as the blue smoke you had on start up check your ccv valve under the plastic on top of the driver's side valve cover for a rip. If it's torn it will smoke on start up and if it idles for awhile.

@@oa4604 sorry, if you are looking under the hood from the front of the BMW it's going to be the right side I believe. I forget here in the US we drive on opposite sides.

Hate to tell you than you don’t know how the proper V8 BMW sound.
I sold that car over 2 years now and the guy who bought it never had a problem with it, still drives without any issue
