The little pup is doing great. She will be a heck of a bird dog for sure. The sunflowers look great. A lot of seed on the ground for sure will make for a great shoot.
Wow sunflower heads! Pup is looking great. Keep the good work
God bless brother!! Won't be long now
Good job I think the dog is doing very well👍👍
Took our Abbiegale out in the boat this week and introduced her to decoys. Her first time retrieving out of the boat and through decoys. Mergansers beware!!!!

So I've been following you for the last 3 years and it has been extremely beneficial for me so I appreciate that. I do have a question though. In my field currently, 70 percent of the field has heads so large that many are close to the ground before what I would say is ready. I mean, there are not hard seeds faling out. Is this normal and will the seeds still come out even if the entire plant is on the ground?
Very welcome! Thanks for watching. Yes that's normal, especially if you have had wind or heavy rain. They will continue to dry out and start dropping. Even the ones laying on the ground will dry out and get scattered as birds and critters mess with them. They probably just need more time to dry.
