I love that you will be getting Cade an ornament each year. If I could share something I did for my children... I bought each child an ornament every year and a bonus one for me to keep. Then when they left home and started having their own trees, I gave them a box with 1 of all the ornaments we had collected over the years. I kept the extra. Now my grandchildren love to come an look for the same ornaments on my tree and the cousins' tree. Very happy tradition that spans the generations!

We bought our son an ornament every year until he moved away at age 25. He has most of them. He didn't take the ones that say Baby's first Christmas, etc.

All 3 of my kids had their own Christmas tree in their bedroom. Added new ornament every year. Kept them separate in a box with names labeled and when they left home- the box went with them. They definitely had their favorites. They literally would see the tree light up in their bedroom when they came home from school and screamed with excitement when they ran up the steps to start decorating it…🎄
that's what I did too. I also bought a Nutcracker for the boys to every year so they have a lot...

You can buy a Monterey pine at the nursery. Keep it in a pot and use it year after year. I have been married 60 years and am on my 6th tree. I treat it like a bonsai and prune the roots every two years. I prune the top all year around to keep the shape.

Candles 🥳🥳 You might know this already and still choose to pronounce it "Knox", but in french we pronounce it like "noir" without the R, you can go on Google translate to play a recording of it being said out loud ❤
Same for the name of the brand, Auden Lueur. It's not Auden Lore. Lueur is such a beautiful word, it's worth saying it correctly.

I had severe PPA/PPD with my now 17 month old. I just found out I am pregnant again and am feeling the same emotions again already. Just wanted to share that your videos help me so much, to see someone genuinely enjoying life and making the most of it with a baby helps me see what is possible. This probably doesn't make sense, but thank you!
My heart goes out to you. We all have our own journeys, and I totally relate to yours. She makes me smile - I wish it was like that for me too. But it gets easier, I have a 17 and 20 yr old and had really bad PPD. Thank god it lifts. I hope you have support and help. Hugs to you 😊
Once you've had a Noble tree for Xmas, you'll never go back. I started out getting the because they lasted so much longer than the rest & didn't shed as badly but fell in love with how wonderful they are to decorate. Great choice! The idea of a Dad & son special tree each year is so special - I love it.

The second estate sale looked awesome! The PJ party looked like loads of fun! Oh goodness I grew up watching the original Rudolph! The one that we all watch now was released the year i was born, but the original was released in the 30's or 40's, can't remember for sure. Of course I was probably 3 I'm guessing when i really started watching. I was always so excited for all the old Christmas cartoon classics..Like Frosty, Twas The Night Before Christmas, The Grinch, Charlie Brown.. so many good ones!😊 I love that green on Cade, look so good with his skin tone. Every year I always bought an ornament for my kids with the year on it & one family ornament, that had our last name & the year on it. I did that until my kids were older teens. Oh the candle photos look awesome.. especially the one for 'Holly'! Love it!🤍 I'm so Excited for all the Christmas videos this year! I love Christmas decor. Its my fav holiday & i love seeing everyone's home decorated, especially the trees & mantles! Thanks for taking us into that gorgeous Christmas store again, its just magical! We leave all of our fall decorations up until Thanksgiving (anything overtly Halloween-ee gets put away after the 31st) and then we put the Christmas stuff out after Thanksgiving. Always done it that way here in New England.

I purchased locket ornaments for the tree and put a picture of my son in one each year. Children grow and change so fast and it's wonderful to have captured these moments in time. He's an adult now but I can relive his childhood each time I decorate the tree.

Hi Macenna, noix ( NWA) means walnut in French you don’t pronounce the X. Châtaignes 🌰 is chestnuts. There isnt one word used for nuts. Noisette are hazelnuts and peanut 🥜 is cacahuètes. Love what you do. Look forward to vlogmas with baby Cade.
My son is 21 now, and every Christmas I put his homemade ornaments with his hand print on the tree. He loves seeing them, and family members are amazed I have kept them this long. We did ages 1-6 that, his hand got too big for the ornaments. After that we made something different every year for Christmas activities. Enjoy making memories because time will pass by very fast. 🎶 It's the most wonderful time of the year.......🎶

Love watching your vids and have been for a few years. Every year for our grand children’s Christmas tree we buy an ornament that they dressed as for Halloween and write the year inconspicuously some where on it (the bottom or back) and give it to them for their small tree that goes in their room. Memories for years to come.❤

Ever since my niece was born in 1999, I have gifted her and now her siblings a Hallmark Keepsake ornament for that year. I usually choose an ornament on what is their interest for that year. Star Wars, nightmare, Harry Potter, instruments or other characters or subjects. They really look forward to that surprise. One day they’ll have a lot of ornaments for their own homes or rooms.
What a thoughtful and meaningful tradition!
My grandma bought me one of the dog ornament keepsake series. It’s a little Rottweiler puppy with the year I was born on its collar. It was always my favorite to put up when I was little. I had my baby last summer and bought her the puppy ornament for her to have, and I love that we have both our puppy ornament on the tree.

every Christmas I get ribbon and cut it to the same height as my little boy. I put it in a fillable clear bauble with label saying his age and height. this will be his 7th year. I'm excited to see how much he's grown this year

I make Christmas ornaments with my kids every year (they're 17 and 21 now). Can I recommend salt dough? It's more pliable than air dry clay so you'll actually see foot, finger and hand prints, it's made from flour, salt and water so it's non toxic (in case they try to eat it), paintable, and once baked/varnished it never goes off! ❤

I purchased a black Christmas tree a couple of years ago and paired it with rustic ornaments using creams and pastels and it looked so beautiful. I figured since black is a trending color it would be something outside the box.

Holidays are such a lovely time. It is great to hear Romeos enthusiasm. FYI, small fresh trees sell out fast, so keep your eye out once they appear.
I couldn't tell for sure from the photos, but it is likely your berry tree is a Toyon tree. They are native in CA, and that is where Hollywood got its name. We had one in our back garden, and I always used it for decorating at Christmastime.

We have a "Magic Mailbox." My kids put their list for Santa in it, and an Elf takes their list and leaves an ornament. My 14 year old loves it and my younger kiddos think its awesome the Elf comes to our house. lol

I'm originally from New York and when you mentioned chestnuts, it reminded me of the hot bag of chestnuts you buy from a street vendor. Delicious. Cade is a big boy and from the little I have seen, I think he takes after you. That Christmas store blew me away! I like all white lights and I love iscicles..
