@@akirebara Yes! Part of the reason I’m okay with talking _about_ what you’re watching is because I can be guilty of this. One time, years ago, I saw a midnight movie (they’re all old films for fun) of _The Neverending Story_ and I was whispering to my friend about the film and someone shushed me. I was stunned- we were all there because we’re fans; you don’t go to see film at a midnight showing for the first time. Anyways, I still obliged and didn’t talk anymore because I _was_ technically being rude; I was just stunned because usually midnight movies are for huge fans and we’ve all already seen it so it’s more about the community experience than watching the film.
@@simplicitylost OK midnight screenings are different because you would think that everyone has seen the movie before. My favorite is The Room, where everyone shouts, yells, throw spoons at the screen, throw football at each other, etc.

I hate nothing more than someone who talks during a movie I nearly screamed when y’all brought it up. The last time I went to see a movie in theaters there was a couple talking throughout the whole first hour of the movie so I just left, the theater gave me “sorry” tickets but I told them it wasn’t their fault since there’s not much they can even do in that situation, I’m still mad at that couple though 🙃😂
That or people who won't put their dang phone away
During the new Wakanda movie, this couple brought their young children who clearly were not taught movie etiquette and they did NOTHING to correct them! They let them shout, run up and down the isles, and just stare at people up close. ON PREMIER NIGHT

I was about 12 and I was just in disbelief bc it didn't occur to me that other people's kids would behave like that in a theatre. Screaming, running up and down, even yeah the staring at people! Why even bother going, paying that much for each ticket, knowing your kids are like that?
