I felt really sorry for Luis Figo this season. He was basically the best player in the world (along with Dinho - imo Figo was more effective but less flashy) but all of the galacticos were sub par. Zidane was rubbish that season, ROnaldo could not head the ball to save his life, Raul - terrible and Beckham was good but not on their level. In the Champions league Figo destroyed Porto But they want onto win the CL. Even against Monaco - R9 and Zidane missed two easy gilt edged chances put on a plate for them by Figo. R9's heading was terrible. Figo was the only player who turned up both legs against Monaco. Portugal lost the final to Greece in the Euros - after Figo was outstanding in the Semis and the only Portugese player who turned up in the final. In the league Figo basically carried them and R9 occasionally would turn up. Zidane was invisible and Raul permanently invisible. Real could of won that league if the others turned up.
