- This is the first in a series of videos to accompany the Instrument Ground School sponsored by EAA Chapter 1641 in Bloomsburg, PA. These videos are intended as a supplement to Rod Machado's Instrument Pilot's Handbook which may be obtained here: rodmachado.com/products/rod-m.... Students are advised to read each chapter, then watch the corresponding video, and finally to bring any questions they might have to our class meeting (be it virtual or in-person).

Hello do the 10hours of instrument in your night rating count in the 40 hours of your instrument rating?
You need 40 hours of instrument time of which 15 is with an instrument instructor. So any instrument time can be used for remaining 25 hours.
@@PhilipPolstra oh thanks 😊
What book are these videos based on?
rodmachado.com/products/rod-machado-s-instrument-pilot-s-handbook-book-and-ebook?aff=151 Rod Machado Instrument book.
Thanks a lot, is this FAA?
Its based in PA so yes
No this is Patrick
It is based on FAA????. Thanks '
Based on Rod Machado Instrument book which is available from here rodmachado.com/products/rod-machado-s-instrument-pilot-s-handbook-book-and-ebook?aff=151. This has a lot more good information that is not found in FAA book.
Will watching the videos be enough for the exam?
No. These are intended to accompany ground instruction. For the exams I always recommend Prepware or similar products to prepare. The intent here is to help people work through the Rod Machado book, not just pass the test.
i like x plane and MSF , x plane 11 is a lil better to me as it seems to have more selection of aircraft,
including my Boeing 73 ;-)
