The no-man's land in the middle of the board was brutal on this one. There's like a full 12" diameter bubble of not even cover, much less blocking terrain, meaning any units with less than a range 3 attack are going to have a really rough time. Not sure how I would have deployed as the droids on this one. Maybe try to wrap around the far long edge and flush out the clones? It would be tough going bc the ISPs are LoS blocking so they can prevent any clones from being shot potentially.
Really liked the lists though, and I like the format with the debrief at the end.
Glad you enjoyed it. Both lists were undefeated going into this video. Turn Zero was just devastating for Tyler and his droids.
If you play the generic Republican one pip you can give another order to a trooper at range one. So with Cody's direct you can issue 4 orders out on a one pip. Then if you have fives and a clone commander you can get up to six orders out. It's crazy.
Have you had any success with it competitively? I'm getting bored of playing Ankin all the time and this is what I would consider switching to.

We have a lot of fun brainstorming new competitive lists. Michael is a very good clone player even better when fire support is involved.
I've been wanting to play Cody, double beam ISP for months and have never gotten around to it. It was really awesome to see someone play it on the tabletop finally! Any tips for when I try it out?

a question? the order list in turn 1 clone commander to fives (fives can order to cody?), because the card text say only clooner tropper 🔼 or arc tropper 😰😰
Fives has "Coordinate: Clone Trooper" Cody is a clone, therefore he can be coordinated by Fives. The clone commander has "Direct: Core Trooper" which allows him to give an initial order to Fives, who gives another order to any clone trooper he wants at range 1 with his coordinate.

For sure. Having sabotage with open center of the board really hurt the droids.
