I like to think this, Sephiroth tries to attack Zack with normal Octaslash first. After 4 slashes being blocked since Zack knows Octaslash all too well, Sephiroth decides to do a different rendition of it where he does 8 slashes in one instant overwhelming Zack. And causing the damage.Just me though lol
@@Nayrjames010 I like to think of it as Sephiroth's slashes doing nothing to Zack because they are all blocked and the one that causes the damage is Zack's falling to the floor.

Sometimes octaslash in games isn't 8 hits its weird

If you guys played dissidia youll see he does Octaslash there too. He seings 5 times but it actually hits 8 times
@@Nayrjames010 It's certainly possible because in Dissidia he has a move where he flies through the opponent and they are hit multiple times
