Really really helpful. I have a new transmission going into my E63 4matic tomorrow and plan on tearing down the transfer case on the old transmission first. So this is incredibly helpful. Thank you for being thorough with your documentation.
Thanks for explanation and tellings the unforeseen problems. As always it is a stubborn bolt or something stuck :) If you have time, i have two questions: 1. Was it difficult to remove the upper bolts on the two housings? What tools did you use? And also, what kind of sliding hammer - does it even fit in that tight space? 2. If you had to remove bearings, is it difficult? What about bearing races? I am trying to see if i can tackle this myself. Thank you.
I need help! Having a slight slight whining noise when accelerating. Mercedes said transfer case and they only sell it as an entire trans. Any help is appreciated boss, I’m in Cincinnati OH. Seen you’re in the Ville.
@@ezryder4245 thank you very much. I really had more questions, I wonder if you would be so kind to answer, can I send my number? Im afraid the mechanic who worked on my car made damage

No problem
Hey bro what was the torque for long bolt and collar nut
What size was the flange nut?
at 2:53 -- check those bearing races for play. Can you spin the races in the housing with your fingers? If so, you should tend to that issue.
There is no play and they do not spin.... everything looks to be fine
i do have a question though

It is possible that it's either the planetary gear or the rear output shaft bearing
