My go to strip property… quiet, clean and does not smell like an ashtray.
Love the fact they now have direct access to Cosmo…

Thank You for reinforcing our love of the Vdara Property. We loved our staycations at Vdara while living in Vegas. This facility is exactly the way you described. When family would travel to Vegas, it was the perfect place for everyone to congregate in the larger units. Now that there is no need to exit outside to go across to the Aria, our only issue has been resolved. There is a calmness that you get from staying in this retreat area of the Strip. You can dive into the hustle and bustle or withdraw in your suite. Love the review!

Next to The Delano, Vdara is my favorite! I adore their scent so much I bought some scent sticks at the spa. Looks like you had a view of my cousin Nancy's boat sculpture outside your suite! Cheers!

Its been one of my favorites for a while. The bigger suites with the full size fridge are great for longer stays. But shhhh dont tell too many people about it. 😂

We stayed here last June and as far as for snacks and water, we got on the Walmart app and placed an order. They met us at the taxi drop off. Super convenient and cheaper than CVS!

Yea it seems weird to stay at a hotel without a casino but it is such an easy walk especially to Aria and now Cosmo to get to the casino floor. Bellagio is still a bit of a haul but, I think it is easier than you think.
Love Vdara, I remember walking through the freezing cold to cosmo back in 2013 and still thought the hotel was worth it. Nice review!

I stayed there in 2015 and absolutely loved it. The layout of the suite is brilliant. Pleased to see now you get a BIG fridge.

For stocking up that full sized fridge the Walgreens across the pedestrian bridge from Cosmo is pretty convenient and cleaner and less sketchy than the CVS down by Park MGM. The ABC Store in Miracle Mile is pretty close too.

Probably the closest sundry store to Vdara is the Walgreens across the street from Cosmopolitan. It’s just outside and around the corner from Planet Hollywood, next to Subway and McDonald’s.
The best decision MGM has made in the last decade is buying Cosmopolitan and building the walkways that connect Cosmopolitan, Vdara and Bellagio.
You are correct, Vdara was originally built to be a condominium where buyers could live or let MGM rent out their residences. Veer Towers are condominiums. The Harmon was supposed to be a combination hotel/condominiums until it was discovered the building was structurally unsound during construction - unfortunately not discovered until they had already built up to the 22nd floor. 😧😬😲After years of legal wrangling, that structure was demolished, and a new 4-story retail building recently opened in that space.

Still haven't stayed there yet but I do get offers - especially now that they have the walkways all finished up I'll definitely have to consider it. But I'm a sucker for the bigger resort credit offers at the lower tier props

We absolutely love staying at the Vdara!! It's become our go-to place to stay. We’re staying there for all five days of our June trip and can’t wait to get back.
It’s such a good location and now even better with the connections completed

We stayed at Vdara several times, great place, I love the new walkway, also the walk to Aria outside is a minute or two to the casino.
Agree completely the walk is not as bad as a lot think
Definitely want to stay here in the future! Do you know if you are still able to use Aria pool during pool season, or just off season? That kitchen reminds me of the Cosmo Terrace Suite pre reno....love the kitchen!
Great question I actually don’t know that one, you can in the offseason but I would question that during regular pool times
My favorite mgm property. I love the quiet. I love the smell. We brought our kids here to stay away from the craziness of the strip.

It’s the only Resort we’ve been staying in since 2017! We have the best of both worlds with the Aria only steps away and the Bellagio a short walk away. Coming back to the peacefulness we enjoy at the Vdara❤️❤️

Vdara is my favorite place to stay in vegas. I've been in every room and my favorite is the panoramic suite...if you get a chance get that room I highly recommend it.

Great place to stay except if you want to use the pool. You have to use the pool at aria and if you are there on busy days and don’t get there till 11:00 or after you may have to wait in a very long line to get into the pool area and only one of 3 pools are available for you!

Vdara reminds me a lot like the Elara Hilton Grand Vacation Club property, connected to (but not affiliated with) Planet Hollywood. Have you guys ever stayed there? That's where I decided to stay the last time I was in Vegas and I liked it a lot (you don't have to be a Vacation club member or time share holder to stay there) because it had many of the same features and amenities that you mentioned in this video. Plus you earn Hilton Honors points.
We haven’t stayed there! In addition to Hilton points, do you get any Caesars points? When looking at the Caesars app, it doesn’t appear to be able to be booked through them?
@@JoshRachael Unfortunately Elara is not a Caesars property, so you don't get any Caesars benefits. It's only physically connected to Planet Hollywood through the Miracle Miles Shops. It's not affiliated with any casino. So you either earn Hilton Honors points from staying there, or you can use/redeem Hilton Honors points to stay there. I liked it and thought it was a great value (you get a lot of things there that you don't get at most Vegas properties) for the price, so I think it's worth looking into the options they have available and checking it out. North side facing rooms get a great view of the Sphere as long as you get (or request) a room on a floor that's higher than the parking garage on that side of the building. (And again, no need to do anything with a time share in order to stay there).
We stayed there last October and loved it. Only complaint is no coffeemaker in the kitchen.

Sorry we should do better at figuring that out, we are good with MGM so no resort fees but I believe it’s around $50 per night

Vdara was supposed to be private condos and a few units are privately owned. During the real estate crash of 2008 they decided to rent the rooms and it's still that way.

FYI My two sons created a technology company in 2001 and have been programmed the graphics designs, programming and installation of this type of tablet for many companies, government buildings, private extremely high end homes, etc. They were on the cutting edge of this industry and have been well respected as a company.

I've seen many many people walking their dogs on that sidewalk from Vdara to Cosmo so that's probably why it smells like poop (never seen anyone there pick up after their dog of course)

Vdara has been my favorite MGM property for a while now (not incl Cosmo). I just wish they had more food options than that cafe and starbucks. Their fitness center has the bare minimum but the Aria fitness center is one of the best on the strip

Stayed there our last 3 times in Vegas. Love it there! Vice Versa bar is great, it is quiet, and a short walk to Aria, Bellagio and Cosmo. What else do you need?

Can you use Aria's pool or get up to the food court at Aria?
Yep - as a guest of Vdara you can use the pool at Aria when the Vdara pool is closed.
And the food court is open to the public!
I think it doesn't get the credit or talked about as much due to a lack of Casino. I stayed there before the indoor walkway was finished to Cosmo and Bellagio and enjoyed my stay quite a bit.
Agreed it is a sneak great spot to stay at
it seems like it is a no smoking hotel as well because there is no casino or real night life
