Having stayed dozens of times at Aria and Vdara, I agree both are great. Staying at Vdara has plenty of benefits, I can be on the Aria gaming floor in a minute or two, directly out the Vdara front door. If you're older like us, Vdara is a nice getaway from the crowds and noise of Aria.
I stayed at Vdara last April. It was definitely a laid back vibe. I was in the basic room with a fountain view. I stayed there before the indoor walkway to Bellagio and Cosmopolitan was finished. I imagine that would improve the experience immensely. I have a trip booked for Aria in September so I am looking forward to comparing the experiences.
Overall Aria is definitely nicer, but I still really like the vibe at Vdara. That fountain view is epic. And I think the fact that we were able to get upgraded to the Executive Corner Suite on both trips may have something to do with my positive association ha
Vdara Is my favorite. I have stayed at both. I like the quietness of the Vdara. The Vdara suite is my favorite; you can go the Aria and eat as both are MGM properties; the bill can still be charged to the room for convenience.
I had a comped stay at vdara and it was nice. Haven’t stayed at aria but I played there. Nice casino and I’m sure the hotel is great. I’ve stayed at every casino besides aria, cosmo and Delano. I’d say fountainblu too but I’d never pay to stay there. If I were comped there I’d stay
Great comparison video. I have yet to stay at Vdara but it will certainly happen. When I stayed at Aria it was by far the worst Vegas experience I have had. I was downgraded without notice. Apparently I was supposed to be notified by my host but wasn't. I was told it would be for just one night but never heard back. I talked with multiple upper management employees and was basically told to deal with it. I am loyal to MGM but that makes me second guess. Thanks again for your hard work on bringing us this incredible content. I hope to run into both of you again. That was by far the highlight of my Aria experience. Cheers from Seattle.
This gets it right to the very core of why I don’t enjoy Vegas as much as I used to. The new hotels are all very flashy and very high class but there are not as ”goofy” as the older ones. The older hotels have a lot of personality and you will instantly spot the differences between them
Well done. Both objective and subjective. With everything Aria has to offer. People may choose Vdara for the very reason it has the basics. The big difference is Vdara has a quiet environment, check in is easy and just steps from the elevators. Where as Aria is a bit of a hike. I think Vdara is the best room to room in Vegas, if you get a city corner suite which is a very small monetary upgrade from a basic suite, but its massive. As you mentioned you can get the north view with the Bellagio fountains view. Don't forget its a city corner, so you get panoramic views looking out west to east you can see allot. Aria is great too, they have all the smart integration with blinds and the interactive tablet unit, and a great washroom. 8:39 Great video we love the Aria too.

Thanks Wayne. Yes, the corner suites at Vdara provide spectacular views.
