Suggest clear coating over the sticker on the caliper, they will look more oem and last longer without peeling off with the heat, gppd job so far though.
I rang VW for a service kit for a Polo im doing, 1.2 Petrol, he said filter is a filter for life and doesn’t need swapping on the service…. I didnt argue lol
It's interesting that VW mentioned the filter is a 'filter for life.' While some modern cars have longer-lasting filters, it's always a good idea to follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and guidelines. If you're ever in doubt, getting a second opinion or checking the owner's manual can be helpful. But I would still replace regardless just for peace of mind lol
What is "for life" 100k 10yrs? Filters are cheap and easy to change. Personally, i change my filters every second service (10k). Anyone who thinks gearbox oil never needs changing or 20k oli changes is fine deserves to ger expensive repair bills.
Good Job,I need to check Break pads, calipers and oil level . Fix the speedo meter ,becuse clock has stoped And 2 dash board lights display on the board.(Battery bulb and Break bulb) Vehicle is Peugoet 207. Can i fix these issues,Bro?Where are you in?Thanks.
very true, you haven't missed it I just have got around to giving it away, That is still on my to do list I will definitely be giving it away soon though. So don't worry you could still be in with a chance bud
I was wasting my time with primer and lacquer then! Not happy with zipping a fuel filter. Bet that’s a mot failure ? The rear discs looked shagged to me. Not looking like a massive profit here
I think the spray I used is designed to be used directly onto the caliper but primer wouldnt hurt and would probably give a better finish. I think I will be going back over them with lacquer later on just to give them added protection so you definitely haven't wasted your time. I agree with the cable-tie I did try to replace the bolt but unfortunately it was to far gone and I just replaced like for like but I will definitely make it secure. As for the brakes honestly they are nearly new just don't show well on the camera, cheers for the feedback
Rear brakes are totally fine. Fuel filter is not a fail. Stop being a hater. it's obvious you ain't got a clue about working on cars. Why replace parts that are totally safe & and serviceable?
Never seen anyone do what you do everything you touch never goes back right again mate your a serious liability I’d have a good think off what you want todo because your going to hurt Somone selling cars that are not even safe

great effort, those calipers look 100 times better! Well worth doing.
Thank you very much, anything has to be better than what was there.
Cracking job on the paint job coming on well to the finishing line 👍💯
Thanks very much, Nearly there!
Nice work on the polo! Always nice to save a few quid too. The wheels suits the car and the caliper colour is nice too!
Thanks buddy I think anything’s an improvement on that purple lol. 😂
Calipers are nice!
thanks very much
The calipers Definitely look much better
Thanks buddy they are definitely an improvement

Thanks for the tip I might just do that
I think you need to put a nut and bolt on that fuel filter to hold it in and the calipers are looking a lot better.👍👍👍👍👍
yeah I agree bud Im going to make it more secure, thanks for the advise
Have you tried cleaning or replacing the idle air control valve to fix the idling issue? They're relatively cheap.
I’ve changed the pcv valve and the air intake sensor I will look into it bud thanks very much for the advice I really appreciate it

Keep your negative opinions to yourself mate! He's doing an amazing job! Tackling things I would be too worried to and yet he's doing a stellar job!
