A few people are misunderstanding the word 'IOP' from the trailer. Obviously, it's added there for impact. But the way it is injected into the dialogue, is quite witty. So, we can't point it as problematic. Hrithik's character, Patty said, "If terrorists like you compels us to be ruthless, then every inch of Pakistan can turn into IOP." So, it's like a warning. It's not something that India wants to do. But India can do it to stop their inhuman actions.

I realized that they were commenting without knowing the true events that shows this movie. I get goosebumps and can't stop myself crying while watching the trailer. Great- what branch were you in ? Me: an air force brat too. Dad was in PTS...India's first skydiver. I agree that Vijeta was an authentic movei from eighties---I remember when Shashi Kapoor and his team came to shoot sequences at Tilpat (in the eighties IAF used to do heavy firepower demonstration at the Tiilpat range). I remember dad helped shashi kapoor and his team shoot sequences for that movie....

@@chandranakash02 Animal I agree is one of the best trailer ever cut. And Captain Miller trailer is okayish, they just followed the trend of syncing cuts with gunshots or action, the movie otherwise is slow paced, and the trailer try to convey it as differently. So not that impressed with CM, but again Animal didn't need marketing, it was already very hypes, while the teaser of Fighter didn't generate enough hype, so they had to show some big moments and you know what to expect from such movies unlike Animal which was something fresh, so yes they cannot reveal things in trailer.

IOP was almost a reality when our forces marched on the roads of one of their major cities before our troops were ordered to retreat. So in reality it's not entirely cringe.

This is a real life india Pakistan incident, Where Abhinandan sir,chief air force officer, his flight danked down in Pakistan while entering there to fight the pakistan air planes, and detained there tortured , you can research online....Its not similar to Top gun
Story is not similar to top Gun Maverick but vibes and back story atleast in Trailer does seem similar,infact even many scenes look quite similar,so does the stunts...better check both trailers and compare side by side. 😊

I hope the movie shows how rdx was transported to Pulwama. And how the Modi government ignored all the warnings of a possible attack and offered the officers as bait right before the election. They tried the same again right before the Delhi assembly election but failed. I hope the movie explores the ugly nexus between terrorism and the ruling government.
Fighter's trailer was very disappointing. The zingoism was at an ultra-pro-max level. I wasn't expecting that at all. 😮
Sorry to break everyone's heart, but this kind of air manuevring is not possible with our Mig21 and Mig29 WW2 era planes. India in reality needs massive air upgrade
I like that the trailer being out of this world brought a kind of anxiety to both you faces that it's Level has certainly peaked expectations.
So all you do is pin point something that should not be even discussed at this point.
And let me tell you this movie is written by an Ex military officer and a filmmaker and it's based on real story when Pakistan attacked Pulwama a place in India killing 40 Indian soldiers and while giving a reply to it one of our Aur Force officers flew in a MIG 29 and was caught on the Pakistani grounds.
If a director is working on such a sensitive project, he won't be experimenting much with the more style, less substance thing.
Obviously you guys can't relate to this , but every Indian is getting goosebumps as soon as this BGM starts at 4:03

@@AKking27No it is not a copy, definitely looks similar as fighter jets and dog fights are involved, now any movie ever being made on Airforce with Dog fight will be tagged as Top Gun copy by you guys.
It has our own fighter jets used by IAF, Indian incidences, Indian Storyline, Indian Patriotism.
And the scenes are all CG because in India movie makers do not have access or permission to fly this jets so everything was generated, but in top gun they actually flew those jets, hence their shots were practical and more realistic, and if the Vande Matram song didn't gave you goosebumps, you might be very insensitive toward our Country. Hold some pride if not with the movie then at least with out national song.

Its based on real life inside of pulwama attack similar to how uri was based , so obvio patriotism will be there but dialogues are avg ,same brahmastra dialogue writer. Vfx are good for indian standards done by DNEG who did for dune. I hope that incident is given justice in the film.
