- Florida is not often associated with such beautiful stones like Agate, Chalcedony, and Quartz Crystals... but she surely has some of these beautiful rocks to find if you know where to look! In this video, my buddy Derek and I got lucky with some new sites where we were able to find some chalcedony (agate) with some gorgeous banding, and some very nice chunks of quartz crystals! Hope y'all enjoyed the adventure, and be sure to check out the links below!

That one in the thumbnail looks awesome
Dude...laughing so hard at work like a crazy person! #TheRitual
Hahahahaha as long as it makes even one person laugh I am happy 😂😂😂
@@WILDKYLE oh you hit the funny bone, awesome video btw! Definitely go back 👍👏
Yes please go back i love agate we also fine them here in nz but not cool ones like those wish i can show you my rock collection
Very cool finds. My 9yr old niece found an echinoid while we were swimming the Rainbow River this weekend. Most people boat or tube. My niece and I swam the entire two hour "float." I got some underwater video too. It was amazing! This was my 3rd trip to Rainbow and I've never spent more than 10 minutes in a float.
You are so Wild and Crazy. 🤪 I loved your fossil and crystal/agate ritual. I totally LOL 😆.
That botryoidal piece is very cool!
We weren't finding much botryoidal pieces so I was super surprised to find that one!
@@WILDKYLE i would be too! You ever go hunt for staurolite?
And thanks for the laughs, too. Didn't have a great night at work, but this helps me feel better!!! Thank you!
I'm happy the video could give ya some laughter Dana 😊 thank you for watching!
Love seeing what’s down this road! Great place to continue rockhounding
Yes please !!! We ll take more videos like this !!!
Oh wow, oh wow...those are amazing! Yes, you must find more! And more echinoids, I love them! So much fun whenever you go hunting!😊💖
Yes! Thanks for doing a crystal vid! I love crystals!!!!!! woooo
Of course! I love them too sooooo much!
Man those were some amazing finds!! Do you ever share the locations you are hunting in? I understand if not! I'm a FL native and just started getting into rockhounding so I'm looking for suggestions where to check out. That's how I found your channel and I'm glad I did! Thanks for sharing!
Yes do go back to those roads, love seeing the ancient sand dollar like fossils.
Very cool finds!!! I really liked the “Rock Hounding Ritual Dance!” It’s just like the dance I use to pickup the ladies!! The only difference is, you found rocks and I can’t find the ladies!!! Oh well, people always look at me and point, so I know they’re impressed!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing the adventure! 🤙🏼
Whats not to Love about that Crystal/Rock-hounding Dance? Perfect music too. You sure that wasn't an echinoid dance? Lol! Alright now you're findin' more crystals. Bubbly ones? Kyle, That piece at Three: fifty six sort of looked like a piece a meat dipped in mustard. Made me hungry. : ) Derek's mountainous, sparkly crystal was my favorite. You two should do more hunts together. A great duo. That was a Fun hunt, but too short. Waahh! From Nor Cali.
Great finds... you'd definitely want to go back there for sure!👍
Rock stars!🤭😁
Good stuff and Derek is a wealth of knowledge! As someone who lives 3000 miles away I'm just now starting to learn about the geology down there. Good finds guys.
Lmfao you guy's are so funny.🤣😂🤣 Sweet ritual 💖✌👣😎
The ritual always works 😂😂😂
Derek The Rock Master is just as entertaining as you are. And you both found way cool druzy!
More! Love agates as much as I love fossils!
Wowwy Wow Wow!!
Reminds me of a similar location in my area where I found trace amounts of fire agate. The quartz crystals and agates are the same, but the host rock is red and purple jasper.
Those are so cool!! I love crystals.
im heading to florida in april, would u have any ideas of where to search and if theres any good spots in clermont?
New here! This looks fun and exciting. I live in Florida and now I want to go exploring 😂
Catching up on your videos! I sooooo badly want to go to Florida one day.Love the dance y'all did!
Wild Kyle, you and Derek are crazy guys. I loved your beginning dance but you didn't do an ending dance. Lol. Great hunting. Looking forward to more.😁
Now I’m itching to hit the local dirt roads
I dunno why but, i love it when you do something so questionable yet so entertaining plus, i've learned to love the knowledge you share. Thanks! Keep it up, Kyle!
Best regards from Japan
Loved the video.Great finds.
Fosils ritual 🤘🏼🔥 lets go
Awesome! I think you should go out there again!
Planning on it for sure!
you can put those echinoids in a pan and cover with towel. let sit in warm place for 4 to 6 hours, then bake at 350 for 15 mins for fresh rolls.
Kyle, you eat up🤣😅💙
Hop in the fossil mobile again! Awesome stuff!
I love crystals! These finds are amazing! Kyle ur doin a great job keep it up ur amazing too ♥️
I think Derek caught WildKyle-itis!!! Lol 😂 Great video guys!!!
OMG yes 😂😂😂
This is cool, keep doing it!
Forgot 2 say congrats on 17 k you truly deaerve it
Thank you so much! 😊
Excellent find my friend!
Thank you! 🤟
Especially with sandals on.
Ouch
You guys need to go to Whipple Mountain in California, we have beautiful bubbly Chalcedony, white and pink and occasionally blue.
That sounds beautiful! I have never been to California so I really want to go!
Great stuff!!!
Great video again. How do you know which dirt roads could have fossils or rocks? What do you look for? Limestone?
Iz needs a echinoid ! Lol 🤟
Isn't that road fill it had to have come from some where else. Great finds on the laid road.
I was fine til you climbed on the car, and then I was half-covering my eyes and yelling "NO SHOES ON THE CAR HOOD, DAMMIT!" at my laptop. Oh well. Moving right along... Y'all found some really beautiful pieces-- they reminded me strongly of some geodes I found in southern AL when I was a kid out with the local rockhounding group, the pretty curves covered with white and bluish crystals looked just like those. Also, I kept looking at the chert and thinking "Hmm, what kind of point could I knap out of that?" ^_^ Nice rockhunting trip, despite the sandspurs!
Fantastic finds!!! What can’t you find in Florida??? Serious question... what did you use to clean all the sparklies??
You have inspired me and my stepdaughter to go out looking for beautiful agate. We are on Long Island, I don't know where to begin. Can you give us any ideas? ✌❤😃🙏
That's so awesome Mary! Happy to hear you are inspired to go look. Unfortunately I've never been there so I don't know about that area. Some online researching should give you an idea of what can be found in the area!
@@WILDKYLE thank you for getting back right away. We were already doing some research. I'm excited. ✌❤😃🙏
Nice job
where in FL?! where i live i can’t find stuff like that 😭😭
Where is this?? So cool!! I have been researching places to go to find stuff like this
About that road. Is the material found in roads like that trucked it or is it natural to the area?
Well I can't find squat...lol..but I'll keep looking down and maybe someday I'll find something worth keeping..lol
Weight is that ranch or four corners lol I go mudding in a place like this
would you be able to find stuff like that in the panhandle? headed to PCB soon and was wondering if it would be worth looking.
Where's you go to find these goodies what location.
What do you do with all the sea urchin fossils?
How do you decide where to hunt? I'm also in FL, would I potentially find something searching any old dirt road?
That's basically exactly how we find these spots hahaha. Literally just have to drive around and keep checking every dirt road. Most roads with limestone fill material are gonna have cool stuff like echinoids or shells!
Was this all found in Northern Florida? I'm south and wondering if I could find any down here.
Bianca Salem south Florida doesn’t seem to have as much good stuff as north Florida. You can find shells and other fossils but the crystals aren’t as prevalent. So far I have only found 2 spots with crystals down here and they were calcite not agate/chalcedony
@@blondie52885 thank you!
Dude super sweettzzzz
🤟🤟🤟
Want to try this, Did you ever hear of RucksPit, Fort Drum in Okechobee, is that someplace good to try
I've not been there yet! I have heard there isn't much good pickings anymore.
Any videos in the Panhandle? We’re in Crestview, FL
I love your videos man. Do you know if there is a good spot for megalodon teeth in like Jacksonville maybe? Thanks!😁
Thanks for watching the vids! I don't hunt that area much at all, but I have always heard spoil piles from dredging along the St.Johns River are your best bet! I have yet to go exploring on that river.
Thanks so much for the reply 😀
Helps alot
Yo kyle! I went on a vacation in France and I found a peace of an Ammonite and my dad found a Whole Ammonite Mine is 2,7 kilograms and my dad's is 2,2 kilograms
Awesome finds! Congrats! I need to make it over there one day to hunt for ammonites. They are awesome!
@@WILDKYLE sure they are!! Mine was just a random find lol I just picked up a rock turn it over and boom there it was! And I wanted to scream all out!!! And I want to show you the pictures of them because they are so awesome!!!!!!!!
I love when that happens! Send me an email with photos! the.wild.kyle@outlook.com
@@WILDKYLE I sent you the pictures did you get them?
@@WILDKYLE and I want to find megalodon teeth so bad!!!!!!!!!!! But I life in Belgium and I don't know if I can find megalodon teeth here?? do you know that?? or I'm never going to find megalodon teeth ever
I’m from Central Florida. I would love to go rock hunting but don’t know where to start
I also wanna go out and pick pretty rocks, but as i lack the knowledge it would just be a loser picking pretty rocks... ;)
@wynja77 I found a really nice iron pyrite specimen in my driveway, in a common driveway rock. You can literally do this with no training. You might want to check online to see what is common in your area, but it's mainly about keeping an eye to the ground..it is such fun. I've found many great items over the years.
You always find awesome stuff. I would love to go on a hunt with you someday.
Where in Florida is this?
oh my gosh, im actually so jealous 😭 I've barely been able to find any sort of crystals, aside from my small geode I found.
oregon isn't giving me anything 😤
You might need to do the ritual we did at the beginning of the video 😂
@@WILDKYLE I might, I seems to bring you luck 🤣
Oregon has some of the most world class agates though
Try searching up, rockhounding Oregon, it should give you some websites and guide books you can buy
yay xx Its my birthday and got a vid
🤟🤟🤟
Happy Birthday!!!
@@WILDKYLE thanks hun xx Yep you should get out more around there I loved the bone with the holes - cool thinking that happened so long ago. Some of those pieces are epic much better in the sun. Sweet adventure thanks for the ride along.
Happy Birthday!🎉
What county are you in? Thanks
As a Swede I take great offence at the title "Rock-viking"! My ancestors were not made of rocks! A viking that couldn't float for at least a small amount of time was a very poor viking indeed! Very difficult to pillage and trade around half the world like that! So offended! ;)
And now to actually watch the video, looking very much forwards to it! :)
Bahahahahaa only floating vikings were the true vikings! 😂
I want to see you do stuff with subscribers. At least local ones.
I will volunteer! LOL
Lori Hanlon my boss is actually someone they go to if they find something they’re not sure about. When it comes to fossils of course.
What part of Florida? I would guess mid part of the state?
Where in Florida is this road? Thanls!
Now we know why your called Wild Kyle. Lol
Yesssss 😂😂😂
They don’t call him that for no reason! 😂
@@WILDKYLE You need to find a name for your dance. Like the Stone Stomp or something catchy like that.
2:36. Did anyone else see the rock that kind of looks like a dog ?🧐 to the right of the screen
Let me know if you did
I'd love to come over there from Louisiana Rock hounding and fossil hunting with you guys! But if your interested in coming to Louisiana rock hounding and artifact hunting I'd be more than happy to take you. I really need to start my own channel. But I'm a bit camera shy. Please Go check out my Facebook page @Louisiana rock hounds & artifact hunters.
What do you do with the material?
I love and cherish it forever haha. I end up throwing a lot of this stuff I find in packages for my Patreon supporters mostly.
Ever come to NW FL area?
in the cracks of the quartz what you see is gold?
Going to the bushnell area next month, does anyone know any good spots in the area?
Where do u find them! :)
Where is this??? 😍
I have so so much of this exact agate and more I have collected from one spot. But bigger and 10 times more abundant. Obviously all-sorts of fossils too. I would love to show y'all my secret spots. They are all here near me in one area of Florida. I would love to see yalls reaction to my spot. In box me if you're interested.

What is a doggoing?
Dugong is a cousin to the manatee! They were shark food!
Where in Florida ?
"Florida is where crazy goes to thrive." :P
Do people buy those
Probably haha!
Anybody in Pensacola have a clue where I might go to find something.... arrow heads, sharks teeth, any thing...?
I'm trying to find out also. Pretty sure we have to go a little further east. Do you know where was this in FL?
No clue on where they might be but your right South East area is the better of the places to hunt although I have found sharks teeth in alabama as far up to around Montgomery, yeah crazy... Arrow heads around and near black river I think they call it . and a few pottery shards in Gulf Breeze, you won't get any of the RUclips hunters to tell ya where to start it's kinda kept a secret ,,, cause some of their income may come from these locations.... I may have a connection or two in alabama that might let someone hunt there plowed fields for arrow heads, but other than that it's all luck stumble across one shark tooth or one arrow head then keep looking and asking you know hey sir would you mind I walk your field for points or wade your creek for theeth and hey get any clues help a brother out ,,, keep looking down watch for snakes sooner or later you'll find something for sure...good hunting.
6:42 💕
I hope I get boyfriend who also interested in crystal stones, I'm collector myself..
Tell me who's the rock God
im moreof a rock master then the rock master is
i know why you havent bean finding big meg teeth you haven't bean doingthe ritual
Is this all over Florida?
