When you get near the completion of cutting one of these, I can't imagine the pressure to not wreck it with a slight slip! Steve Good sent me and I am glad that he did.
That's the thing with school sawing the newbies are nervous and worried about cutting perfectly inside the line but the truth is if you cut a little bit outside the line then just work your way back no one's ever going to notice you better off to stay calm and if you watch this video you'll see a couple times he's outside the line and far inside the line
Absolutely fantastic!!! I have cut some larger pieces but nothing quite that big. My last piece was 6 foot wide. I didn't have the support setup as presented so I cut the original piece in 3 and made it into a triptych. It worked out great and my customer was happy. The next one will stay in one piece. Can' wait to get it started. Thanks Joe and Steve Good!

Glad to see another scroller who cuts large. I almost primarily cut very large pieces. The main difference being that I do mine on thin wood as I cannot afford (or have access to) slabs. I hope you'll consider dropping by my channel to see them. The largest piece I have done was 8 ft wide. I also strive for as much detail as possible. Thanks for the video.
@@MakingStuffwithChrisDeHut Not every piece is huge but if you look through a few you'll see some pretty sizable ones. I do have project videos as well, but for a while now I have been doing live streams. Thanks Chris.
I found the sawmill near my place where you could get quite large slabs of walnut about 6 ft wide for under $100 and if you want softwoods you could pay $20 $30 I'd advise you to just look for a small sawmill or person with the sawmill I'm sure he may even trade wood for a piece of your work
