23 years old (currently) when I realized I needed to be a man. Jumping job to job since 18. Living check to check at my parents house where I wasn’t charged rent so no real pressure on me. Driving the car my parents gave me, then when the insurance ran out I just drove my girls car. Then Living at my girls house for half a year. I one day looked at myself in the mirror & realized I was a loser. I got me a legit career job in sales and told myself ima get a car and my own place. That was 2 months ago. I just got my new car. Apartment is next.

Quitting smoking is hard but i managed to get out of that vicious cycle, sometimes i relapse but it is alright due to the fact that i smoke once a week or so socially ( talking about weed btw). Everything is a process, trust the process
Quitting smoking is a skill. It starts with extreme mindfulness and ends in acceptance and learning the amount of discomfort that an identity shift takes. Eventually you'll reach a point where you don't give a shit if you smoke or not because you do it once a year. And that's when the camel's back breaks because you just start saying no to those and boom. You never even noticed the crossing point where you stopped for good.

Haven’t smoked in 6 months and it’s life changing. people gonna tell you the negatives of weed and try to make you run from it, but think about how much you could elevate without it. no brain fog, no straining anxiety, daily motivation, connection with your purpose. best way i know is to rip it like a bandaid. throw it all away. the pipe, the bong, the papers, the grinder. force yourself to say no every time it’s offered before you have a chance to think about it. and even more important, fill that time with things that help you grow: gym, hikes, books, 2nd job, school. or else it gets filled with things that drown you: alcohol, sex, social media. you got this brother keep going

My classmates from high school have jobs that pay more than 80K a year, and Im out here with no education. I started a new video series where I will be posting one video everyday till the end of this year to grow, it is a 180 day challenge - where I will be working out everyday, Journal 15 minutes a day, meditate 15 minutes and face 1 of my fears. - after 2020 my life went downhill cuz I let that happen, but I can salvage it and improve my life. I was so confident in anticipating my child and welcome her into the world knowing that I had a great family to support my journey of fatherhood. but then it all happened. I’m 20 now. It doesn’t feel like it I’m in college working towards something I want to do but so much isn’t right. My mental state isn’t there my motivation isn’t there. And I still feel like I’m not my own person, I’m blessed with a mom that helps me organize things. But I compare my self to other friends and how they are basically an adult living alone making money doing everything them self’s. I need to become that, I’m motivated for the future and the person I’m growing into. I may be doing it slower then others but fuck it need to see this through.

I've started business from a very young age (16) I've had successful businesses that made thousands in profit every month, but I've also made some really stupid mistakes, poor investments etc. I've lost everything and then fought to make it back, again and again. We are no where near above average. But man we went through some trials and hardship. I just know that when things turn into fruition it will taste so good. True man I just turned 25 last month and I moved across the country from NYC to LA by myself on the same week it was my Birthday for my dream job. It’s been a hard transition because I left all my friends and family behind for the pursue of my dream career and future. I think long term I made the right decision but I miss my friends and is hard to build a new circle of friends and I hope I can build that here in Los Angeles, and I’m also single which makes it hard 😢.

I’m only 15 and I’m seeing what I have been doing to myself like making my own distractions and not actually doing what I am supposed to do, not just myself but also my mom, I always tell myself since I was a child that I will always help my mom and not give her troubles but now I’m noticing that I’m not being independent, I depend on my mom everyday. I usually get the motivaton and inspiration but being consistent is what’s hard for me, watching videos like this help me realize all I need to change myself for the better, for today, tomorrow, and for the future. Quitting smoking is a skill. It starts with extreme mindfulness and ends in acceptance and learning the amount of discomfort that an identity shift takes. Eventually you'll reach a point where you don't give a shit if you smoke or not because you do it once a year. And that's when the camel's back breaks because you just start saying no to those and boom. You never even noticed the crossing point where you stopped for good.

Haven’t smoked in 6 months and it’s life changing. people gonna tell you the negatives of weed and try to make you run from it, but think about how much you could elevate without it. no brain fog, no straining anxiety, daily motivation, connection with your purpose. best way i know is to rip it like a bandaid. throw it all away. the pipe, the bong, the papers, the grinder. force yourself to say no every time it’s offered before you have a chance to think about it. and even more important, fill that time with things that help you grow: gym, hikes, books, 2nd job, school. or else it gets filled with things that drown you: alcohol, sex, social media. you got this brother keep going

I’m 20 now. It doesn’t feel like it I’m in college working towards something I want to do but so much isn’t right. My mental state isn’t there my motivation isn’t there. I feel I will believe in myself the moment i find my calling and chase it. That feeling I will get when I know this is what my purpose is and what I enjoy doing is when I know to go harder. The problem is I try different things and end up and the same place. I feel that I am learning what it takes to be a man but its very discouraging when the question is brought up about purpose, passion, and success. I'm only 19 and I compare myself to others too much but it hurts that people are becoming successful off of what they enjoy while i still work a corporate job working for minimum wage. I have the want to try everything but never stick with it.
Seeing this a week before my 21st birthday. Been through so much and not sure what my path is… you’ve made me realise I have to create it and show up everyday. I have to turn it all around.

True man I just turned 25 last month and I moved across the country from NYC to LA by myself on the same week it was my Birthday for my dream job. It’s been a hard transition because I left all my friends and family behind for the pursue of my dream career and future. I think long term I made the right decision but I miss my friends and is hard to build a new circle of friends and I hope I can build that here in Los Angeles, and I’m also single which makes it hard 😢.
You’re focused on your purpose ! You’re doing the right thing. Just make sure you connect with your family. Don’t neglect them! I believe in you 🙏🏽

Is a hard process and took a long time to get to this point, hopefully one day I can look back and say this was worth it 🙏🏼. I know for a fact I can rest in peace knowing I tried.

I’m only 15 and I’m seeing what I have been doing to myself like making my own distractions and not actually doing what I am supposed to do, not just myself but also my mom, I always tell myself since I was a child that I will always help my mom and not give her troubles but now I’m noticing that I’m not being independent, I depend on my mom everyday. I usually get the motivaton and inspiration but being consistent is what’s hard for me, watching videos like this help me realize all I need to change myself for the better, for today, tomorrow, and for the future. These videos help me get back on track and it truly helps me so much.

i turn 18 in 3 months. this hits hard. i dont have any real friends i have a girl i love i have always felt different from everybody else cause i dont ask or want handouts i want things i can accomplish myself, i want to be a man but then i fall back into the same tendencies like not going to the gym not getting up in the morning for school, ik im a hard worker but i find myself slacking sometimes and i am disappointed when i fail those things. i have huge dreams but i dont chase them as much as i know i can/ should. there is so much more i can do snd i i know that but i have this false sense of accomplishment because of how i see my peers act in school or work. i love his phrase "its an everyday process.. things i can get better at" words to live by
