Hard Mix Blend Mode Custom Vintage Halftones Engraving Money Effect

I first described the hard mix blend mode back in 2009 but it continues to be one of the most misunderstood blend modes.
It uses the values in one image to threshold another.
You can use it to make custom vintage halftone effects, money engraving lines, Ben day dots, or more exotic images involving things like leaf skeletons or reaction-diffusion patterns as halftone screens.
