Now that we’ve got heat in the van, we’re ready for all season adventures! What’s the one feature you couldn’t live without in a camper? We’re curious to hear your must haves!
That looks like a 5KW judging by the size of it. They advertise them as 2KW but the 2KW is much smaller and harder to find so they sell the larger 5KW ones with toned down settings as 2KW heaters. Other than that that's a very nice install. Well done.
Hope your feeling better 🙏 I’ve just fitted mine it also took me approximately the same amount of time but oooooh so worth it roasty toasty that first burn definitely stinks ☝️ looking forward to watching your trip 🙏
Top man Another job well done! Emily A nice warm cup of man the fk up and some there there pills you will feel right as rain lol 🤪. Only messing hope you feel better soon! Look forward to the next adventure. Take care 👍
Heya, thanks for this, mines a Mk6 too with a similar part on top of the diesel tank. I've shied away from putting it on the vehicle tank because I wasn't sure if I need an internal 'straw' or not, but it looks like you just connected directly to the port once you'd removed what looked like a plastic cover? Is that how it's done? Great video again, hope you're feeling better soon!
The auxiliary port is actually shaped to fit one of those "Fuel Line Quick Connector" however we didn't had one of them at the time we were fitting it so we just used a fuel line that was right fitment to the port that we secured with jubilee clips. Hope the installation will go all smoothy !
Thank you for the inspiration, my CDH is now connected to the van auxiliary port and purring along nicely! Handy that the weather was nice today :) Thank you again, you're both legends

Yeah , it had like a silicone cover which came off very easily after removing the clip 👌 Glad to hear that it was in helpful in any way 🙌
@@TakeAPeakAtThisI might have a look at doing it tomorrow if I don't need anything else then! Thanks!
