How to use vector layer in ibispaint

Do you know how to stop it from always creating a vector layer? It wont let me blend with it on

As per my knowledge , we can't blend on the Vector layer. You can add a normal layer, color and then blend.

is there a way to erase in the way you can in other programs like csp?
aka it erases a line till the next line and then it look smooth?

Change the brush and try to add a normal layer. If a brush is a vector, it will add a vector layer.

Ibs paint is really good but the vector layer can u not make it automatic layer bc I like when I do stuff on the same layer I hate the vector layer it good but it's not if I want to add it I'll add it but I hate the automatic layer so much just let me have a normal layer not vector just normal plz it's kinda annoying me

Change the brush to normal brush and add a normal layer. Every time you use a vector brush it add a new vector layer.

Hello, Yes I figured it out! So you look at the brushes and you can see some brushes with “vector” in the beginning. So just switch it to your normal brush. They should update it so you can switch it and not add more brushes with the same name with just “vector”

I made a whole drawing in a vector layer without noticing as I wasn't familiar with what it meant and now I don't know how to delete the vector layer, it lags my app so bad that I can't even click it help

Always check your brush before you start drawing. Change if it is a vector brush. You can also watch how to turn off the Vector layer video.

You can use normal brush and add normal layer. Every time you use a vector brush, it will add one more vector layers. You can turn off the vector layer by going to vector brush settings and turn off from adding more vector layers.
