@@zenzenonline4604Well, even though this is 1 month ago, I'm just gonna reply anyways😃 So, in order to put the layer in the folder, you can put the layer ontop of the folder then, move it under the folder and there you go. Idk if people do that though, since, that's how I do it:)

Hello Can u pls tell me how to color over a lineart without mixing the colors?😊 Whenever i color , the colors get mixed..is there a way to make the lineart as it is and not mixed w the color.
@@manissh098 ohh! it’s probably because your using a watercolor brush. i would prefer to use something else similar, like the pencil graphite. if not you could add another layer and put the layer under the lineart. i tried understanding hope this helped!
You could try to watch some videos about lighting and shadowing in art, the guides helped me exponentially increase my skills in digital art and traditional art
@@user-yu8hr9oy5s This!! I do this all the time. I love analyzing shape, form, lines, lighting, etc in the things around me, and it improves my art sm without me even having to practice drawing! But still practice tho 😅
Best way to learn light and shadow is through observation. HOWEVER the cheat sheet version is to find a photo/reference image that has a similar pose and lighting angle you have in your drawing and copy that. Or you can use 3D models from either your own making or you can use a program I use called Design Doll. Its free and the paid version is only for specfic uses like saving and opening design doll files but outside of that you can pretty much do everything in the free version with no trial period.
This tutorial is amazing! I only started to try digital art (I'm a traditional artist) so I have no idea how to do rendering or shadows, and by far your tutorial have been the most helpful for me
Hello Can u pls tell me how to color over a lineart without mixing the colors?😅 Whenever i color , the colors get mixed..is there a way to make the lineart as it is and not mixed w the color.
I was looking up how to colour hair yesterday and none of the tutorials explained enough for me to understand how to recreate it. And then this randomly shows up in my feed and it explains exactly what I need in less than a minute! Perfect!
It depends on the light source. If it’s the moon, it should be white, and the ambient light would be slightly blue-tinted (occurring on the high parts of the face like the cheekbones and brow ridge). The reflected light would probably be a bluish-gray color
STOPPP THIS MADE SMTH I WAS WORKING ON LOOK SO GOOODD 😭😭😭 IT ALSO WORKS WITH ANY LIGHT ANGLE YOU CAN JUST ADJUST THE STEPS A BIT TO YOUR NEEDS FOR WHICH ONE YOU'RE DOING ❤❤❤
finally a helpful one! so many tutorials like "just make the highlights yellow and the shadows blue" but when i follow that, it still looks weird. but this here video actually helped make my shading pretty!
I suck at colouring cuz Ive been insecure about actually doing it and stuck with just drawing black and white for 80% of my life until just a few months ago. This is very easy to understand! ty and i hope I could somehow adjust this to my style
Just a tip- I would probably erase/fade the shadowing from the light source outward towards the darker side just a bit to reduce the amount that the shadow washes out your original colour. Often the way that we are taught to do this is to start with the intended shadow colour instead of using the multiply layer here, since it is basically an unnecessary step. It saves a bit of the guesswork of trying to find a shadow colour that doesnt turn a nicely coloured work into sludgy shading. Otherwise great work! Good beginner tutorial!
I always wanted to do a more "aesthetic" look for my art on IbisPaint but now that I finally got this tutorial... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
