Its such a good episode, I don't think it exceeded the manga but its still high tier. I prefer the manga VA.
Dude... come on...how the hell can you think Lloyd met Jade before? Think.
Jade got help from Lloyd to create the clothes to conceal the poison of the other girl. You can see the fabric he's holding while talking to Lloyd.
thats aint it bro bit spoiler but
jade wasnt able to master his magic but he tried to do so and in his last moments he organized his magic in a way that is easy to decipher by others, basically it made it easier for llyod to understand it its like instead of giving some one thousand page book u just give em a notebook with the only the important stuff thats easy to study from, that "fabric" was meant to symbolize jade passing on his magic circle, they didnt met in person
