That's Jamie Laing there, started with £3k my arse. His great grandad started the McVities brand bro - also he's a celebrity from Made in Chelsea back in 2011 🤣.. so for him getting started was actually about having rich parents & getting on TV,

Despite what some might think, Jamie Laing is not the heir to the McVitie's biscuit fortune. While his great-great-grandfather, Sir Alexander Grant, did invent the digestive biscuit in 1892, the company was sold long before Jamie's time. Jamie has publicly stated on several occasions that he hasn't seen a penny from the sale, nor does he even receive free biscuits. His father managed to spend most of what remained of his grandfather's inheritance. So, while Jamie may be an upper-middle-class chap, there’s was no trust fund or millions in the bank. His parents had the means to send him to boarding school and pay for Uni fees, but that's nothing extraodinary in itself.
As for his time on Made in Chelsea, he earned very little from it. The success of Candy Kittens, his now-popular confectionery brand, can be chalked up to hard work, a bit of good fortune, and an excellent business partner. Whatever narrative some might want to spin about him being a multimillion-pound trust fund kid from birth, it simply isn’t true. By any measure, he’s very much self-made. Of course, his stint on Made in Chelsea and the platform it provided him, along with his family's history in the confectionery business, certainly gave him a leg up when launching his natural candy line.

@@Sushi-e5f around 70% of wealthy families lose their wealth by the second generation. More so, around 90 percent of families lose their wealth by the third generation. Being born into wealth typically doesn't mean you will stay wealthy. 80% of millionaires are self made for a reason so that narrative of people becoming millionaires because of family isn't true. The ones that keep their wealth from family typically do some sort of work to maintain that wealth.

@@Superlativ1 They can copy it but only if they had the same level of business knowledge - which they really don’t and it’s very clear. They’re just excited by trigger words “million pounds WOWWW”. Zero business knowledge. School of hard knocks he knows his shit when he’s interviewing and he knows who he’s approaching. He should strictly interview self made millionaires not the heir of McVities or the Adil group which are two of the guys in this video - their wealth was given to them. Only time they should interview people like that is when they take that inheritance & 10x it - these guys are just rich employees.
