Smart dog answering the phone

my friends' dog (otia) got a strange habbit to anwer the phone when it rings (including some other strange habbits, such as-licking cellphones. digging in whater, and trying to breast feed a pillow)
well, hopefully this strange stage will pass soon because it allready happened that someone called and she answered before we did...
