Poot lives rent free in Stringer's head.
He bloody hates him 😂
Does the chair know that we're gonna look like some bitches?
Stringer's head is a vacant.
Always 😂😂😂
Poot was right String made em look like bizhes 💯💯
2:25 - Idris Elba's delivery and stare after he says it is one of my favorite moments from TV.
so much insecurity in that look!
“Just like my business teacher says… Hey, you get it right? …Guys?”
I just came here for Butchies laughter during the fight between the jack Russell and the rat.
😅😅😅..That was a funny scene...
actually an anaology for tillman . avon is dog
Like the fuckin headless horseman when he's riding off into the night
Damn Butch... You would have thought Dave Chappelle whisper something funny in your ear LOL
Avon may have been behind bars, but wasn't trying to live two lives. He was genuinely himself, a gangster.
Stringer was free on the outside, but was prisoner inside himself living two lives as a wannabe legitimate businessman on streets.
I c😂ouldnt stand stringer idk of they meant fohim to he an antagonist r its just me but hes a snake
My keybpard is destroyed, strimger learned entry pevel economics terms and thought he was marx steve jobs and elon musk in one

Butchie’s laugh was hilarious
Market saturation for cell phones 😂😂 This was right before the release of the iPhone, and even then everyone was trying to get the newest model.
This was 5 years before the IPhone
@@roydemeo509 Poot was probably the only one around to buy I phones by the time they came out. And he
Think u ment blackberry
Blackberry was about to go off, IPhone was later.
That was the poin, Stringer thought he was smart but kept getting this stuff wrong.
Every time I see this GIF I thought Stringer was driving. It was today I found out he was in the backseat lol
Just realized The rat getting killed in a dog fight was foreshadowing his demise . The Dog (Avon) knew exactly what he would do and played him based on that.
Nah family that some over analyzing shit
@@MajikATXnah just need to expand your mind
4:06 The Dog growling his displeasure
That's Market Saturation
It was stringer who had D killed… not Avon
Butch was tickled by that shit 😂
Dogs are the best judge of character! Another little hint thrown it there by the creators of this masterpiece!
Stringer's "market saturation" explanation is so dumb.
All because Poot had 2 phones on him in The Pit 😂
which was actually smart to keep business/pleasure separate
That take didn't age well.
The laugh at the end had me laughing. Like he’s the smartest in the room which was his downfall
Yall know String didn’t write his lines right lol
That’s not what market saturation means
I love these montages of the series. Years ago you could find your king game of thrones edits before the you tube police deleted them all!
Stringers take on cellphones was way off! Lol
And people idolize the character like he truly knew what he was doing. Goofballs
@@lukitasdeveras That's why Clay Davis played him regarding the property developer scam.
He was right about Nokia and Motorola though lol. Just not cellphones in general.
That’s the point. stringer only sounded smart to the ignorant fools he was around. But put him around smart people like clay davis and he get made to look just as stupid as the guys he was around
Ehhh I wouldn't go that far. Stringer was smart, just out of his depth@Se0420_
0:11 that British accent slipped 😂
It did a few times in the series lol.
@@chillwill2673 lol I know
String thought he was so smart
Butch just laughing his ass off lol
Just cracking tf up 😂
It ain't over🤣@@jamelramseur
“Nah haa HE know what du RAT gone do?” Best delivery of all time.
This showed how stupid Stringer was to how the world really worked. Poot demonstrated mass consumerism with purchasing two cell phones. Stringer saw that as a negative and not that of people buy two phones the phone manufacturer will just produce more as people are buying more and that most people have a personal cell phone and a work phone.
Exactly! Smart and dumb at the same time.
None of this really matters because public information is already priced into the stock. So if you realize something about a stock it doesn't matter as the price already reflects that. The only exception is when you learn something nobody else knows, but that's so rare.
@iamamish Thank you for the info! 🫡
Right I was so confused, every time I see this scene. If I was country or the other dude I would have asked him why would a guy having multiple cell phones be a saturation of a market to where I wouldn’t make more cell phones to sell for profit? Like stringer was mad niggas didn’t wanna play smart with him but he out here spreading misinformation
@@iamamish Stocks are fueled by speculation, rumor, assumptions and of course the performance of the company and products. The issue with Stringer was he didn’t understand how market saturation really worked in this sense. He had the definition right it when he said 1 for business and 1 for the girls which means people need two phones to separate the two. Instead of buying more stock as later in the season cell phones and multiple SIM cards becomes a factor he would’ve made a killing in the market with the rise of text messaging. But nope he instead sold all of his shares
Butchie laughing 3:20 🤣🤣🤣
He had me rollin🤣
Black joker laugh🤣🤣🤣
Haha Butchie laughing like Dude in the Thriller Video
Dog do know his varmint😂😂😂😂😂
DeAngelo went out so bad.......
Glad that Karma caught up with Stringer
He was weak and soft
Nah D was straight up weak and stupid and when his uncle tried to include him on a move that would get them both out early he refused. He didn’t deserve go out like that though.
I watch the series and legit don’t recall the CO beef with barksdale crew. Wire is so legendary
“That’s Market Saturation.”
This is a deleted scene .. never seen it before
$100 says it ain't over🤣
Key difference between Avon and Stringer was the crew's respect.
If you look at how they responded to Avon on the phone talking business was below respect level
When Poot spoke out of turn at the meeting with Stringer saying "we are gonna look like some b**chs", that also showed a ton of disrespect for String.
No one would dare to speak to Avon like this.
This show really paints intricate aspects of everyone's character, down to behaviors for or against their leadership
Don't be too harsh on String, planned obsolescence wasn't much of a thing in common knowledge back then...
And back in the days, items were actually studied and build to last decades, so logically as soon every regular folks would own something, there weren't a need to change or upgrade until the thing would actually break. Which was accidental 9 times out of 10.
House phones would be the perfect example of that: No cheap faulty softwares, just pure hardware. Phones didn't have any other options but calling. People kept the same phone for 10 20 30 40 years.
Cellphones when they came out had a solid built as well. Maybe some of you are way too young to have experienced these big Nokia, Alcatel or Sony Ericson cellphones... some of them are still working perfectly fine today and they came out 20+ something years ago.
Compared to now where items are studied and built to completely stop functioning in 5 years or less software wise, with cheap and fragile designs increasing the chance of a fatal break within the 1st year of usage. So it has increased the phone market. Same with cars or every other thing powered by softwares.
String just based his perspective on an outdated point of view. He was wrong but still made sense in a way.
But then came the burners, followed by camera phones, claps, touchscreens etc... Noone would've knew all this ahead of time.
Luv Butchie
I didn’t kno Butchie dealt with drugs. I thought he just Omar Bank
He was a little bit of everything lol
@@TheWireUni damn that’s crazy it’s good finding out new things
One of the characters mentions that Butchie dabbles in the drug game. Not enough to get anyone's attention or step on any toes but just as a secondary source of income
@@tmage23 damn I never knew. I gotta watch the series again
Yeah they mentioned it in one episode that he was in the game before he got shot and blinded. Then he became a sort of go to guy.
These times when string supported him are why he was so torn later when he betrayed him. Loyalty kills people
Stringer was stuck on his self, the look he gave after telling his guys about market saturation like these dumb Mfers. But you learned it taking classes so come on bruh
Junk do know his varmints!!!!
Damn what season was this? Was this Season 2?
Yessir season 2 episode 3
Could Butchie and Charlie Sollers, mentioned by Prop Joe, have been the same person?
Yup!
Um, no. Fans steady overanalyzing this show. It was not the Twilight Zone or X Files. It was about the street life in Baltimore.
Almost every character in this show,is someone from Baltimore
@@davidsamuels9557facts. Then sb say something wild like this then it spreads and become law
@@BigA678 Exactly. Clout chasers always trying to find some imaginary plot detail, that us peons cannot see. Just watch the damn show.
Notice he took another shot at Poot!!
I don’t understand why Dee is getting high like that.
20 year prison sentence. He was working thru those emotions... He eventually was cleaning himself up, but Stringer didn't even give him a chance 😂
The man was looking at 20 years
Who wouldn't be tryna find a way to cope. Not saying that what he was doing was the answer but I can understand needing a way to deal with having to go thru that shit. Nigga was stressing B.
He was facing twenty. Being in his 40s and behind when he got out
Not just the years, but sounded like he was coming to terms with his past. So much so that he was separating himself from the people he knew and looked after him his entire life. That’s no small matter, that’s a horrible uphill battle to fight.
How is it hard to understand lmao he was facing 20 years
Talk about what Avon? How I'm doing 20 so you can do 7?
Black joker was in this too
Damn, thanks for literally spoiling the entire movie from beginning to end.
Movie? This is a TV show from over 20 yrs ago 😂 and these scenes don't spoil anything

First This is not at movie!
Second you didn’t have to watch
Is that the same little white dog from boardwalk empire
Was string right to dump the phone companies?
😂 nope!
Why didn't Tillman rat out Butch
For what? Butchie connect too
2:53 reminds me of the legends of giant rats eating homeless people alive when they pass out in the streets of Chicago. I'm sure these stories exist in other cities too but I'm not sure where they come from or how true they are.
Where Marlo at 😂
