JoesGE.com is a pretty cool place (depending who you talk to it might be more than pretty cool. But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt Baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two-sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that, we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse losing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so let's keep going.
We do some really interesting things here at JoesGE which are frequently documented in our sometimes weekly sometimes never vlogs.
Also, if you are wondering how we keep up with the demands of the people so well, its because 90% of the people that work here are all Russian around getting things done most of the time. Yes, that was a pun, you are welcome. We hope you have a pun-filled day, because who couldn't use a few laughs? Наука
I got to point no. 6. The philps screw was like butter. Before I knew it, the slit for the screwdriver shaved off and became round. Now there's now way to extract the screw. I swear, those Apple bastards do this on purpose.
Edit: I tried a broken screw extractor, but ultimately just had to drill through an replace the screw altogether. My soldering skill is nonexistent so there also were some scares with that part. Finally I got it right. The headband and muffs are replaced, both speakers play with clarity and I'm so f*#&g proud of myself. I hated every minute of this proces, which took over a week and forced me to buy many tools that I won't ever use again but I made it.
Great video guys. I would have lost my favorite headphones without it.

Do you know the date of the headphones? I have the same one and i want to buy a replacement. Thanks
Hey I have a that kind of head phone of beats but I have missed it cable now I got a new one and it’s not working properly and I have to connect the aux cable in a hard way
Do you know how to fix it or do you know where to buy a original cable
what part did you remove at 4:59. Is there any replacement to buy and where please. Thank you
What a pain in the ass. You would think they would make the parts that wear out easy to replace. The vinyl starts peeling off after very short use, probably because of normal occurring oils on your hair and skin.I wish it were actual leather.
We sell headband cushions that as sheepskin. Here is a link to it

Useful video! Please tell me how thick you need to use the hex screwdriver? for example, out of the smallest, there are T5 0.9; 1.3; 1.5; 2.5 mm or more?
T5
Thanx for this tutorial, now i can replace my ripped leather headband and ear pads👍
Aren’t you scared to ! Like what if after all that work if it doesn’t work finally :((
Glad I could help
Amazing tutorial video! unfortunately in Mexico there are not a lot of places where I can get my headband installed, I´m thinking of doing it myself, your tutorial makes it look so easy, the only thing I´m concerned about is the welding part, I have zero experience doing that, is there any advice you can give me? tools? Or something? Thanks a lot!

So, I was removing the screw from that part that holds the headband (5:37) and one of the 4 screws was so tight that it broke in the middle, and now one of the metal pieces cannot be used anymore.
Do you know where and how can I get another piece? Or if it's possible to remove the rest of the screw?
Btw nice tutorial on how to replace that headband.
Contact us @ support@joesge.com and we will try to help you out:)
Can you do a video on how to replace the headband on the Monster Elements Over The Ear Headphones?
Unfortunately we do not repair those or have access to make a video on them.
i think i strip the screws 6:15 mark. do you have any ideas? I looking to change them out too, very small and hard to twist
The best you could do is carefully drill it out. If you strip those screws on the Beats Pro its hard to recover.
does anyone have a link to the T5 screws? Not screwdribers but screws for this phones! On Ali for example and the name of them so I could know. My screws are broken...

Does the ear pads fit in the left or right cuz I order a pair from Amazon and didn’t fit on right Earpad
Both earpads need to go to their corresponding sides.
I bought everything from joes website but the t5 is not unscrewing anything at all. I’m afraid to go further so I don’t round out the screws. Any advice?
