I'm surprised he didn't mention the enemy classes and their different behavior, but overall great video.
I would've liked to see that too. The talk wasn't as technical as it could've been.
This makes me want to see the perspective of the AI when the player is sniper firing at them
who cares the combat AI suck,
I mean it's totally unrealystic they are just dumb suicidal walking targets like
if you want to focus to combat AI this much at least make it fun, this is just as dumb as any other commercial shooter game!
I'm so done, so much time wasted for nothing....
Amelio I'm sure you can do better, dazzle us please.
You must be fun at parties.
Amelio the entire game sucks. Especially the writing: “they’re stealing our data! the horror! so lets murder innocent people, that will get everyones attention”. Its such a cringy game, I gave up on it very quickly. Also, the driving sucks. All of the cars handle the exact same and handle perfectly. The cars also have no weight and feel like cardboard. Very poor game overall. Would not recommend. The combat AI is the least of its problems.
@@maxk4471 While I disagree on a game having to be fun (look at Limbo) I can see what you are getting at. If we do not like a game that is perfectly fine. However I do wonder what the point is of then specifically seeking out an educational video about it to rant on it while making barely any clear points. The second critical response in this comment chain to me had much more merit seeing as it clearly identified several issues which might prove useful should a dev take a look here. Saying a game is bad is easy and not that useful, explaining why that is can actually help to improve it.
I don't know. The combat was pretty hard in this game.
