St. John 3:17: "For God sent not His Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by Him."
The above quote, Your Excellency, takes away any and all doubt as to the "main truth" of your sermon. It absolutely says that Jesus' intent in coming to the earth was so that we could get to Heaven. Ergo, when we make our raison d'etre to get to Heaven and make our decisions as to their efficacy to get us to Heaven, we are in complete agreement and compliance with God's Will; and God, unlike humans, is absolutely infallible! If we are with Him in His Will here on earth, most certainly our greeting in judgement will be: "Come on in My good and faithful servant."
With all that is happening in this world that militates against God's Will, your sermon for The Ascension is certainly a breath of fresh air from Heaven and fills my heart with hope! Thank you for being "His" Priest, and preaching with "His" Heart in a way that all can understand!
