If I want a different bass sound I have to throw on flat-wounds or buy a new bass. In fairness the plugin is way cheaper than buying a new bass for all the different flavors.
oooooh baby, Virtual instruments, my favourites! I have the Modo bass 1 it has some goods and bads, it does the work, but, I don't know, Sometimes I feel like I love it, sometimes don't, but keep doing this :D !big fan
You can get a trial of full version that allows you to demo other models. Also, the price consideration may not be as significant . IK is well known to have sales frequently. The price is less than most competing products. Toontrack's EZ bass rarely goes on sale and gives less for the cost ( although I would argue that it's generation of bass lines is easier to grasp ) . I just discovered your channel. I love the concept, but in my humble opinion, I think , outside of extremes like completely free ( as opposed to free lite-like versions of products like ik's cs series) or outrageously priced items, price may be a distraction to whether it's shit or not. You have chosen to make videos short ( I like this), but that means you are not going into a deep product dive. In such a short opinion, I believe a pure analysis of quality may resonate more than planting the seed of value of an item that is typically purchased for less than retail price.
@@juancanavis9867 chill. They literally ask people to comment. I'm quite sure they are fine with my comment. It wasn't negative. I have noticed since this point they are now weighing in the price that these things sell for rather than the bs retail price no one ever buys at. Did your just wake up and designate yourself personal ptotector of their nuts?😂
Note that although you can buy them one extra bass at a time from the Custom Shop, there's also two paid editions of Modo Bass that have 4 ( Modo Bass 2 SE) and 22 (Modo Bass 2) basses (Modo Bass 2 CS is the free one). There's also a combined bundle of the full versions of Modo Bass and Modo Drum (which somewhat inexplicably is cheaper than full Modo Bass 2)
I'd be very careful buying this plugin as it is wildy unreliable. It will cease to output, sustain notes indefinitely, even play different notes to what you play. IK don't seem remotely interested in fixing it.
Interesting...I've been using it for months now with no issues... What have IK said? I've had a few other IK plugs not work on an M1Ultra processor...assuming they will get updated at some point.
@@StudioLife101 Hiya. I've been talking to them for nearly a year. They're aware of the problems, I've sent videos as requested but no action. Sadly ik make good but unreliable software. Do you run on PC or Mac? I always got the impression they're not very Mac competent. Shame!!
I purchased the entire plug-in for $99 about two weeks ago. Well worth the $99. Regular price is $199.
Have had absolutely zero issues so far.
Constructive feedback. I would have loved to see an actual demo.
Another great review. Thanks guys
Good to see Shaun Dyche has found work after his sacking from Burnley FC.
Enjoying your content guys, keep it up! Entertaining
Same over here.

With that said, I subscribed to see how this series grows.

@@juancanavis9867 and btw, I actually LIKED the video. Get your reading comprehension up.

Yep….it’s in the video…👍😂
This is the point at which I learned it's not Mondo Bass too.

@@johnrivers7576 I'm on a Mac... Some stuff works fine on the new silicon processors and some doesn't...shame cos it's good stuff usually.
@@StudioLife101 Agree! They need to pull collective finger out!!
