One time my aunt made my cousins, sisters and I make buo Loy for four temples, restaurant employees and our family. I remember rolling balls for like five hours. I got so bored, I even rolled a square and a heart 💜 Good times. We did not use food colorings for the colors though
Wow! what exotic dessert, looks delicious! I'm going to try to make it, about pandan leaves i'm going to change to lemon leaves, and watch the experiment. I love to explore all kind of recipes around the world.
Just a side note Pandan leaves. These are used to make Hawaiian wraps you see in Luas. or Asian markets for sticky rice. These Leaves are sweet and have a distinct flavor. It was put in this recipe for flavor. They did not change the structure or have any kind of chemical reasons for being there like Baking soda and salt when baking. its not a Must have, however it does make it more authentic.
Hi I was wondering would it make a huge difference if I use coconut milk instead of coconut cream? Also can we can use vanilla extract instead of pandans leaves?
JanDusuntia If you use coconut milk, you can reduce water to make it more thick. For vanilla extract, I'm not sure what taste will be but you can try if you like vanilla favor.
HI. Great recipe. Looks amazing :) I bought pre made rice balls, they're frozen from the frozen section in Asian store. When I put them.in boiling water they just seperate and turn into powder flour mess. Help! Thanks.
🥡🐙 ingredients are 120 grams sticky rice flour and 60 ml water Plus food coloring... 200 grams sugar and 100 ml water 250 ml coconut cream plus 3 Pandan leaf, if u have. You can leave out the pandan leaf.
