Question for the IFT: in one of your videos you said we can swim 600m however we want. Can we mixed it along the way? For example, we start with free style, ending up with these ‘strokes’. Is that allowed?
Yes but it is 500m for the IFT

Stew, should the foot stay dorsiflexed during the scissor kick?
No. It’s not perfect but it’s going to still create an above average swim time for spec ops swim tests.
@@StewSmith182 so the correct technique with the scissor kick is pointed toes?
@@daprophet9899 during the glide phase. At the top of the kick it should be somewhat flexed

Combat side stroke for people who aren’t getting it…
Well yeah I guess there are people who aren’t getting putting on a speedo and staring at a black line for three hours a day. Instead they’re going to be doing this in the ocean shooting guns, jumping out of airplanes and scuba diving. We’re not trying to build speedo wearing competitive swimmers
