Well I tried yuh recipe and ah must say, u are correct "mmhhhmmmm". For real, this was an easy dish and really tasty. I am no cassava fan but I do enjoy it in a variety of ways. This is now one of my go to dishes for the family. Thank you....
Sir! You forgot to mention that peeling is integral because the skin is poisonous if eaten. And to peel those 2 layers - the brown and the pink skin. Did you know this? I read that somewhere but I am not sure if these new strains of cassava are non-poisonous.
I also add a little choonks of cooking butter aka "Golden Ray" for a little more Caribbean flavour. But here's what I have always been trying to achieve: how to get the finished product a little crispy? More oil/butter/fats? I can't afford real Kerrygold butter economic-wise or heart disease -wise.

Most delicious is Korean sweet potatoes color is purple, very delicious Or Japanese purple sweet potatoes, I don't eat American yam,,, not so delicious,, only Korean,, sweet potatoes Hispanic called batata
