I know this was a bit of a struggle but I love your design!! I LOVE the marbling on the sides of the text block. Funny we used the same gold pen! I don't think I've ever seen you sculpt, so well done! Thanks again for a wonderful collaboration, just like the other collabs they are thoroughly enjoyable!
This project is amazing! I love all the different techniques you use to get the color effects. I love the marbled edges. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing.
Both books are fabulous! So many different techniques utilized by your imaginations! I especially appreciate that you used supplies you already had; proof that crafters (like me) do well not to throw away or get rid of anything! Kudos to both of you!
Nice find on the book, and you are definitely are giving that book a second life. WOW this is such a wonderful book and why I wish you had a book shop to get your creations at for my collections.
I love the look of the scales and the dragon egg on the on the front. I also thought it was smart to add the ribbon bookmark. Makes it feel like a real book to be read instead of just a shelf prop
Love your version too! I especially liked the layered dragon scales and the use of the distress inks for detailing and aging. Definitely looks like a book that has been used in some serious dragon training! Thanks Danny, another great project!
This was great really loved how inventive it was, abit of trial and error, isn,t that how we all do our crafts, the book looks great love the marbling too, thankyou for sharing with us ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow I loved both books. I wish I had a crafters imagination and skills. i loved the marbling and the dragon scales were really effective. Fantastic job by both of you ❤❤
It turned out great! I like that used a fantasy book to create the dragon book. It was probably good that you had to add the spine cover. It broke up the green and you had a perfect place for the tail to come out of. You are right about the texture of the material used for the spine. It does look like it would have come from the belly. Your hand must have been hurting from punching all those pieces out. I wonder if something lighter, a cereal box cover would have sufficed. It looks great.
🤩💫🙌⭐⚡🔥🐲 It's GREAT!! I really love how this is so hands on creative and 3D like a living thing ,like a Monster Book. The paint layering and marbling are fab . I really enjoyed watching apart from your poor thumb ouch! It's fabulous and well worth the blood sweat and tears! Thanks for sharing Danny 🤩
Love this. The only thing was the end of the tail is too thick to go under back binding. Maybe clamp it down more. I loved watching you complete it. Reminded me of my college days in art classes. It was great... Dawn
Oh this is amazing! You inspire me so much! Can’t wait to try and do my own version as well! Love your videos and DIYs so much 😍✨😍 Your content is truly magical ✨
Cool book!!!! Now I gotta make one. Lol btw the audio was picked up just very quiet for a couple minutes. No worries. I’ve got a girl asking for a scale cover…… how perfect are those 💚💚💚💚’s plus I love that you are using the text block. Great job! That color shift paint in layers… never thought to do that. Wowza.
