Ever since my first listen to this song, I got a feeling I couldn't describe. It feels nostalgic, but I know how nostalgia usually feels and this isn't it. It feels sad, yet it's beautifully and majestically upbeat. But now as I listen to it, as I'm on my way home, and while the sun has set far enough for the clouds to lit ablaze with orange highlights, I finally placed where these feelings come from. This song embodies my dreams. This feels like how I remember feeling whenever I would daydream way back in my elementary and early middle school years. A time when I didn't know the horrors of the world, and believed there was infinite potential for my future. A time when my dreams and thoughts were filled with love and adventure. A time when before bed I would look out my window at the stars and be at total peace. But now that innocence is gone and those days and nights are long gone by. Is what I would say if they didn't manifest themselves with this song. So thank you Deathbrain for giving me that back. At least for 4 minutes and 14 seconds. :)
