I own fzsv4 it sound is good but now i have changed the screw from the muffler of the exhaust now its sound is more thumpier also its legal no illigel modification is done to increase its sound quality
Biased review. SP160 has more power almost as big tyres and better mileage than FZ-S. In fact, Hornet 2.0 with slipper clutch is almost priced at par with 150cc FZ-S and even cheaper than Gixxer. Honda is always Honda. 'Nuff said.

I don’t know much about new bikes but I have. RX-100, and Libero 1992, and 2007 respectively mfg. I just have to fill petrol in Libero and go anywhere. Just two months back I travelled from Kolhapur to Aurangabad almost 500km to and fro. Yamaha is very reliable, forget price, looks, or power…

Just go for sp 125, but if your budget is high and required more power so go for sp 160 . Fzs is also good but don't have kick start . I don't know much but the build quality is not that good of fzs . So, the choice is yours!

I recently procured SP 160, and had taken trials of FZ-S, Unicorn ( same engine), Pulsar 150, Gixer, extrem. No Apache. I had a discussion with service mechanics and few multibrand repair shops. My conclusion: 1. Bajaj engines have goid sound, but not refined as japanes engines. 2. Gixer is over priced compared to other segment bikes. 3. Yamaha and Gixer are currently not in commuter market, so their machines are high performance, and parts are costly. They rather should not be compared with SP 160. 4. Considef Extrem as a serious contendor if you ride in city. 5. SP and Unicorn are commuters, with the same engine. Time tested honda engine, which is best at about 5000 to 6500 rpm, at speed 60 to 85 - 90. These bikes are not for racing or fadt run. These are office going city commuters with 160 cc engine for better pick up and torque. Servicing is non- complucated, easy and cost effective. This is the same old engine. It gives 55 kmpl in city and 60 kmpl on highways (70 kmph speed on highway). So, if you are less than 30 yr bike enthusistic, go on highways with average speed more than 70, then suzuki, pulsar (NS) and yamaha 150 cc engines are worthy. If you need a commuter for office and city riding with occasional highway travel, or you use bike for family go for SP 160 or Unicorn.
