I have the follow error: Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages. The resource was not cached by default and your current Cloudflare caching configuration doesn't instruct Cloudflare to cache the resource. Instead, the resource was requested from the origin web server. Unable to find the Cache-Control response header.
Ideaspot one quick question... I have a site, where i implemented this. When i go to check my ttfb the first time, the ttfb is around 600-700 worldwide and if i check it again like 20 seconds after the ttfb is about 100-200 worldwide. Why is this happening? I am guessing the caching time right? But how do i make the caching time last longer?
Yes it's possible, follow the directions in your dashboard, settings > WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache > FAQ > Third Pary Integrations. The other good option for litespeed is quic.cloud rather than cloudflare
Thanks for the tutorial, Alex. One question here: when I follows the steps to go with the settings everything goes well, just that an error happens: Preloader is not enabled. How to fix this issue?
I notice that on the speed test website your tested website is only ~700KB. Its like loading two optimized pictures. I bet that even without optimizations it runs pretty fast. What about websites which have a couple of MB or even a 100MB (if the website has not only pictures but videos as well as it is interactive)?
Hi, I show the before/after times in the method - for larger pages I'm guessing you'd get a similar reduction (around -1.5s saved) when measuring in various locations around the world, so a 5s page might become 3.5s for example. If you need to build large pages, still keep the content above the fold as light as possible, so you don't get hit with the 'poor' rating by google core web vitals. Don't forget 15% of mobile users are still on lower end mobile devices loading at only around 200KB per second... github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse/blob/master/docs/throttling.md If you need large video, recommend using an image placeholder that appears first.
But if your site is local, so in my case in the Netherlands. How can a cdn help if all the users are close to Amsterdam anyway? Where also the server is
Hi Rich, good question - if you have your audience close to your server then a CDN won't see much performance gain, so you don't really need to use this video :D
@@IdeaSpot Hmm so i did optimize quite a lot, proper set up of autoptimize and other combinations, as well as my optimole. But speed is lacking a bit, I'm kinda coming to the conclusion seeing the internet that for example Kinsta has way faster hosting than siteground offers. Am I mistaken here? I hope I see a good increase when i s wap hosts
I dont get it, you said cloudflare is with money, but you took api from cloudfl , do we have to also have cloudfl account? And wont it take money from us?
So less wp RUclips share this kind of value “free” version information. Best ! Thanks for sharing. I’m using digital ocean vps 20 bucks vps and only one website I installed centos 8 cyberpanel and litespeed, so was using litespeed features if I disable page caching and install cloud flare super page cache it will more better ? I belive if I change my server radius not going to cache right ? Visitor will be using cloud flare caching ? Thanks again
I was actually doing this tutorial on a litespeed server, so you can still use litespeed on the server side and cloudflare super cache on WordPress and you’ll get similar results to this video. If you want to run the litespeed plugin at the same time as this, Just follow the directions under FAQ > Third Party Integrations: snipboard.io/bTDouS.jpg This way, you can still have all the other litespeed optimizations & tweaks, just the page caching will be done by the cloudflare plugin. Another good option for you to try would be quic.cloud through the litespeed plugin, there’s a free tier for that too, try both and see what you prefer
I m having this message now when i test cache : Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages. Error on dynamic page : The plugin is not detected on your home page. If you have activated other caching systems, please disable them and retry the test. Any idea where the issue is coming from ? Thanks !
I use PageSpeed Insights to see the loading time, the plugin shows me a similar message, but PageSpeed already shows better results, as if it was working fine
I would like to use WP cloudflare super page cache. Now i'am using WP optimize. So i need to know, will both of these pluging work correcty with each other with out harming my website ? thank you...
Thanks for your video, regarding performance it would be of great interest if possible to show how to optimize WP + Woocommerce, that's the bottle neck. Thanks.
Cloudflare can only cache a page after it received a request for that page. That means when CF gets the first request it checks whether the page is already in the cache if so return from the cache if not fetch the page from the server but before sending the page to the user, cache it so from the next request it does not need to fetch it from the server. This is why you can enable the fallback cache system inside the plugin which will create a disk-level cache. So, for the first request when the request comes to the server, instead of WordPress generating the whole page, it can be served from the fallback cache generated by the plugin for that page.
Thanks & good question :D As Saumya mentioned, first load will pull the page from your server onto the Cloudflare network, then future requests will be from the cloud edge cache, rather than your server. I think it will stay in the Cloud for upto a week by default. Also, you can also preload cloudflare under the advanced tab with the button or using the preload URL.
You can use it, follow the directions under the FAQ tab - you need to disable it first though before following the method in the FAQ: snipboard.io/1rd7sM.jpg
its really about support and management, you can get great hardware on a fast network (vultr, linode) but they won't help you run your website, or you can get slower network with nice support, like hostinger
Hi there, if I started using WP Rocket, does it make sense to continue using WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache? Are they even compatible? I am mostly curious because I am using WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache with decent results, though after installing WP Rocket was expecting a boost in results and things were pretty much the same or even worse, for example website seemed to be slower...Maybe I should just use one or the other? Thanks!
Yes, check the WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache FAQ - if most of your visitors are in the same region there is less benefit to using both, so just rocket should be enough. If you have visitors from around the world then combining with cloudflare will improve the result.
Thank you for the important lessons. I appreciate you walking us through the process while sharing your insight. Shine on Superstar and all the best to you!
I followed everything, worked perfectly. Thank you for assistance Boss.
It’s a great plugin 👍
Excellent content mate worked like a charm , and had no issues with latest litespeed also.
Keep up the good work
Should I use WP Rocket or this method to cache my site?
Thanks a lot, i've been struggling for years and this solved all my page speed problems.
I have the follow error:

right now i am facing same 😐😐
This looks like a very handy tip, thanks for sharing!
Still works, if people are wondering! :)

Nice tutorial! I didn't know about this free plugin. Thanks for sharing I will try it and see how it does.
Can't you just add page rule yourself on cloudflare without the plugin?
Thank you for the clear demonstration.

Happened with me too, just checked that you first have to click on "Update Settings" then click that "Start Preloader" button
Awesome content

Got this error while using the plugin and testing cache: "Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages".

Glad to hear that! thanks Jasper
very good video. thank you

thanks for wonderful video, but cloudflare is hitting cache in second reload, not in first. why and why it is not serving cached version in first hit?
Cloudflare can only cache a page after it received a request for that page.
