I love how you celebrate life. It reminds me of my childhood. Mom always made things festive and fun. She even made a tea party for me for no reason when I was 6, we had hot chocolate and powdered doughnuts, I’m almost 60 and it still makes me smile. Thanks for sharing your adorable family with us. So glad you are over being sick 🧡🖤🧡
Well now I need a Magic Dads take London video series. I can see it now! Afternoon teas, Bridgerton tours, maybe take a train up to Scotland for some scotch. Match made in heaven. I did a Downton Abbey filming location tour and it was incredible. Highly recommend.
I so enjoyed this one. Please, please do an entertaining video! That would be great. You r so detailed and such a good cook it would be a huge success. Do it!
Mike, you and Steve are unbelievable. As a couple you are the yung and yang. You both are so talented and fun to watch. I'm single older 73 old gent but I just love watching your family highlights. It was mesnt for you guys to find each other and start your journey in route to a loving and happy lifr together. Caleb is your icing on the cake. Wishing you many more vlogs in the new year...😊
Happy New Year my favorite 😍 you tubers !!! Mike you should pat yourself on the back that dinner looked amazing and yes it’s perfectly fine to compliment yourself and be proud !!!
Mike it’s a milk jug , love afternoon tea ! Loose leaf tea is the best for afternoon tea ! sugar lumps for the sugar bowl ! Sandwiches looked fabulous ! Tea always taste better in bone china !
Happy New Year to you all! In regards to having afternoon, you definitely need some dessert plates as well as jam, lemon curd and clotted cream for your scones. Also, it is not called a creamer as it is referred to as milk jug. It is a big debate on whether you pour milk in first followed by tea, or if you put tea in first followed by the milk (cream). Love how Steve "Played Mother", which is what you call the person who pours the tea. Since you like Earl Grey, I highly recommend Twinings (pronounced Twine-ings) Lady Grey Tea, as it is a lighter version of the Earl. Most appropriate for afternoon tea. Also, look into the company called Replacements, who have the largest inventory in the world of china-dinnerware, silver-flatware, crystal-glassware, and collectibles.
Definitely milk in tea and cream in coffee. I’m from Cornwall in the Uk. We have a Cornish cream tea where we have scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream with our pot of tea. Afternoon tea is very popular here and my favourite way of getting together with family and friends Thank you for another great vlog and for sharing your life with us ❤
Hi I'm from the UK too, definitely clotted cream with scones and strawberry jam. It's a milk jug, not for cream. Milk in tea and cream in coffee. In England we have a huge selection of fancy cups and sauces, milk jugs and sugar bowls, check them out Mike. Great vlog as usual xxx ❤
yes that would be wonderful if you would do a vlog on how to entertain, your table looked beautiful for New Years! Just love the tea set enjoy it those sandwiches looked wonderful
E…very…. tea person is going to tell you “the best tea to get” so here are my recommendations 😄 Fortnum and Mason’s tea is nice but you guys have an amazing company that creates beautiful teas over on that side of the pond. Harney & Sons loose tea is wonderful. My favourite blends are ‘Earl Grey Supreme’ and ‘Paris’. They’re wonderful. The strength and flavour is spot on. I love adding a pinch of Lapsang Souchsong to Earl Grey. Loose tea has better flavour and strength as well as being able to customise your blend. Harney & Sons have lovely tea strainers but also sell filter bags if you’d rather put the tea into a bag. Also, there’s a whole thing of not adding milk to certain teas. I love milk so i get frowned upon sometimes but I don’t care 😉
Hi guys I’m from the uk and it’s normally milk not cream in the little jug . It’s so cute you doing a English afternoon tea . It all looked delicious . Tea always tastes better in a China cup that’s for sure and some people raise their little finger in the air when drinking the tea 😂.
Last Mothers Day, I made scones and homemade clotted cream, and treated myself and some neighbors. Mike, you must make clotted cream next time for your scones. There are videos on this platform for how to do that.
Definitely milk and not cream in your tea Mike! I prefer semi-skimmed milk in mine. And certainly pour the tea and then add the milk, never the other way around.
This is such a fun video! I think a video of how you throw a dinner party would be fantastic. You always add a sense of fun to your entertaining so nothing you do is ever boring. The whole tea party thing is absolutely fantastic!
You guys are truly the best parents . Love how you always have Caleb join you in everything ❤️ there should be more people like you in this world. Hope one day we can meet .
Happy new year to you all x Uk here, it's a milk jug, milk not cream. Cream is for coffee but Earl grey we have without milk but that's just preference lol but use loose leaf not bags.
Try Coronation Chicken for your next tea sandwiches (it’s similar to curry chicken salad). And try the brand Yorkshire Tea. It’s a classic English Breakfast tea but has the most flavor. Drink it with milk or a tiny bit of half and half. I find British milk is creamier than American so a tiny bit of half and half in tea is a nice treat.
Was it coronation chicken? I love a high tea! I think I love a cream tea more though, which is tea with scones, clotted cream, and jam. Love clotted cream despite the terrible name!
You MUST get fortnum and mason tea. The royal blend is my favorite. And some treats from them too. They are the best of the best when it comes to tea and tea accessories.
Yorkshire Gold is better in the US. The F&M we get from Amazon or Williams Sonoma is on the dustier side. Also a big thing about tea is the proper temperature for the tea leaves.
How cute is Caleb? He always enjoys participating. I loved seeing him eat the entire biscuit at once. Love the tea party. I may need to buy that set for my daughter who also loves tea parties and to entertain.
Lovely afternoon tea 🫖☕️ Please do share more of your party and hosting tips/videos! And congrats to Caleb on the super bike riding!! I bet you are trying to keep up with him now 😉👏
My sister and I always meet once a year for s sister vacation at Disney. We always bring tea to have afternoon tea, it would be even better if we could have some of Mikes tea sandwiches. Would love to have a entertaining vlog. Love the kitchen sink vlogs. Happy New Years to everone watching! 🎉❤
Your NYE tablescape was beautiful and so elegant! I love tea! Try making coronation chicken tea sandwiches....it was created for Queen Elizabeth's coronation and is served at Fortum and Mason in London. Now you need to go down the loose leaf tea rabbit hole! So much better than tea bags.
I love the intro and music so jazzy ❤ .....use milk in the creamer maybe ask your UK followers to send you some tea from Betty's tearoom in York or Fortnum's xx
So I read the book Wicked years ago. Could not figure out how they could ever make that into a stage show or movie! 😂 People who saw the movie and now are reading the book are in for a bit of a surprise
Great video! This would be a nice tradition for the post-Christmas season. Just one thing - someone once told me people should put lemon in Earl Grey tea, not milk.
I have a friend who travels with me to different tea houses for tea service and I have my own fascinator! I just loved your tea party and it’s wonderful that Caleb joined both of you! I would love to see an entertaining video!
I absolutely LOVED this vlog! I smiled ear to ear thoughout. Thank you Magic Dads for delighting us with your tea party, and Steve's cocktail "mixology" demo too. I giggled when Mike commented during the tea party that he loves the sound of the tea cup as it makes contact with the saucer after taking a sip...to notice a small detail like this and to appreciate it is so lovely and sweet. Life is all about appreciating the small details sometimes, isn't it? Thank you for continuously opening your home to us. Even though we've never met, I feel like we are friends :)
So fun that you have Bridgerton China. I must confess that I have never watched the show. When we watched Downton Abbey, we noticed that the china that they use in their country home is Royal Doulton English Renaissance....the exact pattern the my mother in law had and I now have packed away for my granddaughter for when she gets married. We use it on small holiday gatherings because there is only service for 8 but we feel like The Crawleys when we are sitting around the table. Love your vlogs and Caleb is adorable!
Do you have a link to the tea sets you got? They are absolutely adorable!! And yes videos of you setting up and having parties totally down for those vlogs!
Hi guys, a comment and a question: love your new tradition of proper tea! The good news about this is you can find a lot of full tea sets online (I have seen a ton on Facebook marketplace) at great prices. I wish we had more friends locally who would join us and get into the spirit of the formality. My husband and I have twins (boy + girl) born through gestational surrogacy. They are 2, so we are a bit jealous of you guys as Caleb is so much further along LOL. Looking forward to a little more maturity in the household. Anyway, for my question: Can you tell me where you got your tree and what brand it might be? How tall is it? We had a 15' tall tree which was prelit in multicolor and white lights (could switch back and forth between the two options or do both) but got rid of it at the end of this season as we didn't think the colors were vibrant enough. Any info you could give on it would be great. Thanks!
Happy New Year!! Nothing nicer than tea in a proper cup and saucer. ....NO CREAM!! 😊 You do not use cream in a proper cup of tea; milk only. Cream is too heavy for tea (as opposed to the strong taste of coffee) and mutes the tea flavour too much.
Please do a how to entertain video! You do such an amazing job, the food, the decor, the presentation, I want all the tips and tricks please!
Mike don't even hesitate, please do how you host a party because you already do a fantastic & fabulous job!!!! 🙂
I love how you celebrate life. It reminds me of my childhood. Mom always made things festive and fun. William Sonoma needs to sponsor you, Mike! You’re such a great unofficial spokesperson!
Well now I need a Magic Dads take London video series. I can see it now! Afternoon teas, Bridgerton tours, maybe take a train up to Scotland for some scotch. Match made in heaven. I did a Downton Abbey filming location tour and it was incredible. Highly recommend.
Love the tea party vibe you’ve got going. Would love to see a video of how you host a dinner! Love how you enjoy your life and celebrate each day!
Yes, would love to see how you do dinner, party’s and tea time vlogs.
We always put the milk in first! Steve...more milk! A Canadian thing, maybe. My granny had those dishes!
Love the editing on this vlog!! You are honestly one of my absolute favourite vloggers. Happy New Year 🎉
I so enjoyed this one. Please, please do an entertaining video! That would be great. You r so detailed and such a good cook it would be a huge success. Do it!
LOL, crazy, love love Home Goods.
You really need to come to the uk and have afternoon tea at the Savoy, it’s the height of boujee!!!
Mike, you and Steve are unbelievable. As a couple you are the yung and yang. You both are so talented and fun to watch. I'm single older 73 old gent but I just love watching your family highlights. Mike, your centerpiece is amazing! And your champagne tower is wonderful! The house looks so nice and inviting! 💜💜💜
Those drinks looked great! Perfect choices for Wicked.
Thanks! They turned out great!
When can I come over for tea?❤ that looks amazing! Now I want that tea set
Happy New Year to you all! In regards to having afternoon, you definitely need some dessert plates as well as jam, lemon curd and clotted cream for your scones. Great vlog Mike & Steve. I would love to see you create a vlog(s) on your tips and tricks on hosting the perfect theme party.

The Bridgerton teapot is so pretty! 😍
Oh great, Mike. Now I'm ordering a Royal Albert tea set. I'll be having Mrs Nesbitt over for tea pretty soon!
💜💜💜

Definitely do the hosting video!!! Also, love all of your storytelling, Mike 😂
Last Mothers Day, I made scones and homemade clotted cream, and treated myself and some neighbors.
Mike, you must make clotted cream next time for your scones. There are videos on this platform for how to do that.
Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family 😊🎉 Love your tea set 😊
Fun as always...not sure about others, but for me, I use a little milk in Tea
Such fun. I feel so boring as I don’t try anything new anymore.
Mike! Now I want to see you make macarons! 🫖
Definitely milk and not cream in your tea Mike! I prefer semi-skimmed milk in mine. And certainly pour the tea and then add the milk, never the other way around.

I love tea service and Steve is a master at everything he does. Your tea service was lovely.
Happy new year to you all x
Uk here, it's a milk jug, milk not cream. Cream is for coffee but Earl grey we have without milk but that's just preference lol but use loose leaf not bags.
Smoked salmon and cream cheese also delicious

You MUST get fortnum and mason tea. The royal blend is my favorite. And some treats from them too. They are the best of the best when it comes to tea and tea accessories.
Yes! And immediately plan a trip to London to have tea there!
The F & M Afternoon blend is very nice too. 😊
Yorkshire Gold is better in the US. The F&M we get from Amazon or Williams Sonoma is on the dustier side. Also a big thing about tea is the proper temperature for the tea leaves.
Nice tea sandwiches
Yes!! I would love to see how you host!! Love a good tea party! Wicked is the best! Loved the themed drinks!
How cute is Caleb? He always enjoys participating. I loved seeing him eat the entire biscuit at once. Love the tea party. I may need to buy that set for my daughter who also loves tea parties and to entertain.
So love and enjoy all your videos. I have found some interesting items at Home Good and I live in Pebble Beach. Always looking for a deal..😊
Really nicely photographed. "Shall I be Mother?" is what I hear Brits say when someone is about to pour the tea.
Lovely afternoon tea 🫖☕️ Please do share more of your party and hosting tips/videos! And congrats to Caleb on the super bike riding!! I bet you are trying to keep up with him now 😉👏
I would love for you to post a video on how to host!

Pink goes WELL with green! ;-)
I am in agreement I would love to see how you all entertain! Congrats to Caleb on learning to how to ride his bike !
Now that you’re a fan of Bridgerton, have you watched Downton Abbey or The Guilded Age series?
Your NYE tablescape was beautiful and so elegant! I love tea! Try making coronation chicken tea sandwiches....it was created for Queen Elizabeth's coronation and is served at Fortum and Mason in London. Now you need to go down the loose leaf tea rabbit hole! So much better than tea bags.
Yes you put cream in your creamer not milk. Looks fantastic and enjoying the series and Happy New Year to you and your family.
Happy New Year to you!!!
I love the intro and music so jazzy ❤ .....use milk in the creamer maybe ask your UK followers to send you some tea from Betty's tearoom in York or Fortnum's xx
I had those Arby's glasses back in the day, lol. You seem to always make me chuckle 😂😂
I audibly gasped when you said a Jamie Oliver recipe. I've never had luck with his recipes. 😂
I love doing little tea parties with my family! I would love to watch you make little tea party finger foods!❤
Have you had The Tea at The Grand Floridian? It's awesome.
Love the table decor ! Adding the clock looks charming and the dinner looks wonderful. :)
So I read the book Wicked years ago. Could not figure out how they could ever make that into a stage show or movie! 😂 People who saw the movie and now are reading the book are in for a bit of a surprise
From your friends in England…we LOVED your afternoon tea!!! PS slice of lemon with Earl Grey 😊
Whoa love the intro, so cinematic!
Yes to party tips! 🎉
Great video! This would be a nice tradition for the post-Christmas season. Just one thing - someone once told me people should put lemon in Earl Grey tea, not milk.

I’d love to see how you prepare!!
I'd love to watch a Tips and Tricks! BTW, loved your New Years Eve table! It looked like champagne bubbles all over. Happy New Year!!
So fun that you have Bridgerton China. I must confess that I have never watched the show. Beautiful
I would absolutely love an entertaining video!!! You're going to have to try afternoon tea at the Cake Bake shop next time you're in Disney World!
I love how much you love Wicked. We have seen the stage show 17 times, and went on a special Wicked cruise in 2013. We actually like the movie better.
I would LOVE a party hosting video!!!!!!
We want to know how to entertain like you🎉
This is adorable!!! My family loves doing tea parties!!
Steve you did a gone job on the tea sandwich.
How are you going to display your new tea set?
You should do a trip to NY or London and do a fancy afternoon tea at a hotel or Tiffany’s.
Do you have a link to the tea sets you got? They are absolutely adorable!! And yes videos of you setting up and having parties totally down for those vlogs!
Would love to see ya how to entertain video.
❤ u guys happy new year …totally share the party prep …Oscar’s and superbowl

Yay!
Please please please do a vlog about party hosting tips and tricks!
I really dont like tea(I guess I'm the only person in the country who doesn't) but your teapots look great!
Thank you!!
I do half and half in mine. My Nana was from Bristol England she made us tea with just whole milk but that was in the 60’s.
I love these kitchen sink vlogs
Please try Two Leaves and a Bud tea. I’m a total tea snob and this brand is my favorite, especially for Earl Grey and Organic Assam English Breakfast
This inspired my wife to break out her tea set, gloves, and hat. Although she filled her pot with wine 🤣
I’m dead! I literally said to Steve (off camera): “this is nice…..can we put martini in here?” 😂
Too funny 😂
Happy New Year!! Nothing nicer than tea in a proper cup and saucer. ....NO CREAM!! 😊 You do not use cream in a proper cup of tea; milk only. Cream is too heavy for tea (as opposed to the strong taste of coffee) and mutes the tea flavour too much.
