I’m obsessed with this place my husband and I said this is a must for our next disney world trip! . We dined at tepid edo before and I feel like you can’t really go wrong with the Japanese pavilion!
I love following your beautiful family and the wonderful content that you bring to so many! We have planned a trip to WDW at the end of April for ten days and hope to dine at Takumi-Tei! GREAT REVIEW!!!! Also, your outro is heartwarming!
Isn't it a great spot? I absolutely loved it - we also tried the omakase menu. For anyone nervous about their chopstick skills, I'm beyond terrible with them and they had regular silverware easily available and also gave me the "kids" chopsticks that are banded and didn't make me feel awkward about either. The service was really excellent. Can't wait to go back!
Assuming Disney is open this August / September due to , we are going to be having dinner there and I can’t wait, I’ve been excited about it ever since they first announced it and we have been squirellig a little extra money to be able to go here
Just saw you guys for the first time. MY GOD!!!! Great review. As a fellow Disney RUclipsr I love well we’ll produced vids. Can’t stand the vids we’re people just turn the camera on and talk talk talk... blah blah blah, but you two fresh dads ROCK!!! Thanks for this friends. Can’t wait to see more. CHEERS!!!!!! P.S. I use bad grammar on purpose.
My complaint would be that the sushi has far too much rice to fish ratio (yes, I know sushi is the rice). But with the sphere configuration there's just the tiny bit of fish on top.
I did... but I am a nerd and paused the video, screenshotted, and zoomed into the menu. Aaaand I could have just googled it but sometimes my brain doesnt work well! Lmao
I really enjoy your videos. I just discovered them last week. We go every year and are considering a few new places we haven't tried including Bluezoo, Flying Fish, Toppolino and here. My wife is not a meat eater and scared of sushi. Is this a place she still would likely enjoy?
As I mentioned in the video, I am not a big seafood person either but this place was excellent and I really enjoyed it! But, even if your wife doesn't want to try the sushi and seafood, they still had other options including a couple different steak entrees and a duck breast. We LOVE Flying Fish and especially Topolino's Terrace!! We had dinner at Bluezoo, it wasn't our favorite spot, but still decent. Hope you have a great time, and thanks for watching!!
Very enjoyable review. The drinks and the wagyu course all looked amazing. I was extremely disappointed to see that they serve temari for the sushi course rather than nigiri. A very poor choice in my humble opinion.
The sushi part looked disappointing. Barely any fish on top for the amount of rice given. I love sashimi, that was not even half of half an ounce of fish. However, beautifully presented and I have no doubt extremely fresh and tasty. (Also, I know that was more nigiri style, not sashimi, but even for nigiri they went light on it)
It's not about the quantity, it's about the quality. Extremely high quality fish and sushi will have fish just about that small..this is completely normal and expected.
The rice to fish ratio on that nigiri is just wrong. Before people get the wrong idea.. I don't mean value wise but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the main reason that the ratio is so off.
Uni is my death meal. Ha! When friends visited Japan last year, they sent me pics from an all-sea urchin restaurant. Entire meal looked delicious.
It really was!!!
I think this is going on my bucket list for whenever I make it to Disney.
It's worth it!!
@@TheMagicDads It sure looks worth it. I love Japanese food.

Yes to the beef!
It was soooo good!!!
Love this place. Big fan of Teppon Edo was well.

I don't eat enough sushi to have noticed the amount lol. It was really delicious though I have to say.

tei like taylor, not tai like thai
Way too much rice with that sushi, so little fish. Also, you are supposed to dip the fish in the soy sauce, not the rice.
